Notre Dame will always remain independent, as long as they can get a big, football deal separately and their other sports can play in a conference like the Big East. Its just way more profitable for them this way.

I agree

As long as the program gets good TV ratings, the TV station will buy the rights and it is way more profitable, but I would guess this will change. Needs maybe another 10-20 years, but if that program doesn't get relevant again by contending for the finals, this status will vanish.

OK, the BCS looks not good at the moment, but if the Pokes loses against the Sooners, it will get ugly.
LSU - Alabama Rematch anyone?
Oregon?
Oklahoma?

What will happen if LSU loses against Georgia in the SEC Championship game?

That BCS has to be replaced ....

Oh man, what a night for Oklahoma State.

1. they got the info regarding a the plane crash and the lose of their women basketball coach and an assistent, which shakes the program very deep.

2. they had to play same night the game against Iowa State in Iowa with their football team and lost that game because of some mistakes and maybe a questionable call on a game desiding field goal.

Wow, the Cowboys did very good against the Sooners.

I was in for an upset, but it wasn't even close!

We will see, if this is enough to avoid a LSU-Alabama rematch.
