I feel playing a game like this one is like reading a novel: we wish to see what happens next, and appreciate the storyline.
We have here an interactive novel: we are one of the characters. We have to abide to rules which are not apparent, kind of a Science fiction novel. We have to learn about new technologies and social constructs. Same as here. Then, one day, I hear the game developer talking like this: I admit I do not care too much about these situations. Thread I feel cheated.... If you don't care for your own product, why should I care? It is boring enough to slog through dozens of "100+ to 0" games , for month after month..... to be eventually be told "don't care", about one of the few available clues to learn, to understand, the rules of this universe. I feel cheated of my time, I feel cheated of my efforts, my intelligence has been diminished. So Long <uninstall> |

It‘s just a stats issue. And yes, maybe he don‘t has the same passion to dig into this glitch as some might expect, but keep in mind there is no money in this game, just unpaid free time burned to sort out a stats problem.

Last gameday the mentioned game between Invictus and Caplit e salama did provide the nailbiter expected, but my pick was for Caplit and it ended up being a win for Invictus.
That does not change much, the playoff seats are secure I think, only the sorting gets a bump here and there. Next gameday we have no obvious candidate for a close game or an upset, so any difference will be a surprise. Regarding BOTs we have the situation, that all 3 new teams are already history again, the last went BOT this night. The only teams on BOT watch right now are: birney's weekenders which have a supporter account and might have setup a BOT stop, which prevents BOT dome for 6 weeks. If not, his 28 days are soon over (I still don't get the exact mechanics) and the team might fall BOT in the next 1-2 days, if they do not log in (as they did in the past 10! seasons regularly). KAFakofers are about 5-7 days away from falling BOT. And a special case is Tokha Tigers, who did not like a reaction of Peter in the Bug forum and did announce big time their leave. He did not log in since that post (which is only a day gone), so the team might fall BOT in 20 days. |

Weekenders did finally fall BOT, which did change the predictions for the game against Trnje (+1 win) and the Lions (+1 win).

So, 4 games left to play.
My projected season results, with the current results plus the last picks included. AC AC East Trnava Saints 15 1 Berlin Racoons 10 6 Derpenstein Devils 7 9 Texas Two Step (BOT) 3 13 Saints with a win more compared to last prediction. Saints right now before the Leopards in PD, if they keep up the scoring, they will get #2, if not eventually #3 playoff seat. Racoons right now out of the playoffs. AC North Leverkusen Leopards 15 1 Cottbus Cobras 11 5 Blatná Jaguars 3 13 Taboo Mules (BOT) 0 16 Cobras with one win less to last prediction. Leopards are close to the Saints regarding PD, right now only #3 seat, maybe #2. Cobras because of PD issues compared to the Rabbits in trouble to make the playoffs. AC South Doves 14 2 Hopping Rabbits 11 5 Junction TimberWolvez (BOT) 5 11 Spencerport Rangers (BOT) 2 14 Doves with a win less to last prediction. Doves do look like they will be #4, Rabbits are right now in lead against Cobras regarding PD, if they end up at 11-5 both, which would grant the Rabbits the #6 seat. AC West Dumpster Fire 15 1 Orono Ancient Snappers 12 4 Blue Devils (BOT) 4 12 Cork Pucas (BOT) 2 14 Snappers with 2 more wins than my previous prediction. Dumpster Fire with best bet on #1 seat in the conference, Snappers right now best to become #5. NC NC East Trnje 11 5 Black Habaneros (BOT) 7 9 Cleveland Crushers (BOT) 3 13 Sevilla Linces (BOT) 2 14 Trnje with two wins more than my prediction, thanks also to weekenders BOT status. Trnje easily #4 for the playoffs. NC North Morior Invictus 15 1 Paris Chiefs 8 8 Prague Lions 7 9 birney's weekenders (BOT) 7 9 Invictus with a win more compared to my previous prediction. Weekenders with a BOT dive now, and Lions had 1 win less, but thanks to the weekenders BOT status, they got compensated n that. Invictus right now #1 in the conference, but very close in PD to the Miners. Since those play with less expiriences players, likely that will stay that way. Chiefs have a very small outside chance to make the playoffs, if KAFakofers and Tigers might do bad stuff. NC South Ruhrpott Miners 15 1 Paxtang Black Panthers 11 5 Fort Worth Funky (BOT) 3 13 Saucon Valley (BOT) 2 14 Miners with a win less than in my previous prediction. Miners likely to claim the #2 seat. Panthers likely to get #5. NC West Caplit e salama 13 3 Tokha Tigers 11 5 KAFakofers 9 7 Yaroslavl Bears (BOT) 2 14 Caplit e salama with a win less than in my previous projection. Caplit e salama will be #3 in the conference. Tigers will likely end up at #6, but if the Manager decides not to come back, the last 4 games might turn out differently. But next in line would be KAFakofers, which are on BOT watch. PS: This is not my personal spam space. Everyone is invited to post something. ![]() |

My thoughts exactly. Give him some credit, Frank. Unpaid time is one. He's alone doing it, that's two. Imagine you'd have life and urgent things to do in that life - and the call to fix the program you're running out of the passion only. Last edited on 2025-08-12 13:13:11 by jpnwrt |

As far as I know, in the period since starting the development to now it's 10+ years and Peter did get more People to coordinate on the job and raise his kids to adulthood and became a grandpa. So, live did change and for sure, when he has the time and passion to luck into this stats problem, he might look into into in detail, but the game is running since 10+ seasons and obviously this bug or glitch did not harm too much. |

Two surprises on last gameday.
Cobras had a career day against the Sainst and won against all odds. That did shift the projected playoff seat of the Saints to #3. Cobras gained a huge win for a playoff spot, now projected at #6, leaping over the Rabbits. And second surprise was the Racoons winning against the Doves, even that did not surprise as much as the first game mentioned. By that no big shifts, Doves still on their way to become #4, while the Racoons are still projected to be outside the playoffs, but they gained a win towards the contenders, so 1 surprising win more and the cards are different. Next gameday the game Caplit e salama @ Dumpster Fire is the closest one, with impact on playoff seatings. |

![]() ![]() Sorry for not elaborating on either. Your own fault. Straight to the point, leaving no space to add anything new and with a merit ![]() ps. Ok, found one. Not a commentary or an argument. A question. Do I read correctly, that the projected #5 would be my Snappers? psps - Yes, I know that it indeed is most likely. It's just the first time in my team's history I am in a position to ask such question, and I guess, childish and silly as it sounds, just to read the confirmation from anyone else would be a music for my heart ![]() Last edited on 2025-08-13 10:24:44 by jpnwrt |

Yes, your Snappers are projected to go #5.
Right now you have 11-2 with a good PD value. I have you projected to win against the BOT next gameday and lose against Tigers and Dumpster Fire, finishing them 12-4. The best bet right now for the #6 are the Cobras at 10-3, projected to win against 2 BOTs in a row and then lose against my team, finishing also 12-4, but with less PD. They are roughly 180 points behind and will eventually gain 60 with a BOT more to beat, but the rest is impossible, if no big surprised (really BIG) happen. If the Racoons beat the Saints on last gameday and/or the Rabbits win against the Doves, we might get a very close race for #5, #6 and deeper. |
