EconomyMoney makes the world go round, both here and in real life.The economy here is quite basic, you earn money from sponsors, ticket and player sales. Money is spent on paying for maintenance, wages of players and staff, construction, and of course when you buy players from the transfer market. Selecting the Economy link from the Front Office menu will take you to the Economy page. This page will show you your account balance as well as a balance sheet for the current season and for the current week. There is also a transaction list on the bottom. Keep an eye on your finances - without proper management you can't win! What happens if I hit a negative balance? Without a positive balance in your account you can't buy players or facilities, but all the maintenance costs and wages are covered. Your bank charges you with 5 % interest. If you have a negative balance of more than $-500,000, you will receive warning messages in your inbox and notice board. In addition, your finance warning level will be raised by 1 (the default Finance Warning Level is zero). When your Finance Warning Level reaches 3 you will get penalized in the following manner:
Warning: all these penalties can be imposed at the same time, that is, not only one of them is imposed! If you manage to get it above this $-500,000 your warning level lowers by 1 until it is 0 again, the financial crisis of your club is then history. Do other owners know about my financial situation? Yes, they do, but not the exact details. On each club overview page there is an indicator for the financial situation of the club. This is as it is in real life, when all the negative rumors come up if you are in trouble. On top of that the Mag might report about your trouble, this is not really helpful either… We added a filter function to the Economy view. This filter is working for all entries made after 2012-11-22 9:30 pm. All entries made earlier than this point are covered by "all others". |
