That kind of system was suggested also in the past.
My guess is, at the start you find the needed amount of managers, but it gets harder and harder to sub exiting managers. And even if you have such a group, it's not 'save' since not all can be online all the time. |

I am bringing this discussion back because I had an idea some days ago...
Could it be possible to implement trading (involving draft picks and players) on Elite? 
The Elite league is a far more "controled" group so we must have a smaller risk of cheating there. Additionally, I think that such special competition with the best teams of each region deserve special features just like this one. I do not think that allowing trades on Elite will increase the gap between teams so I think it could be well implemented without hurting other lower level teams. By the way, it could be an opportunity for those relegated teams that usually lose money during their stay on Elite to get some "reward" (I think trading a #1 pick for another pick and an additional player may be an option). |

Honestly i dislike such exclusive features.
And i still don't see how this does help. As far as i know did Peter shut down draft pick trades and trading or selling players is almost the same. Likely selling is better right now for the buyers, so why should i hurt myself with trading? I just don't get the fixation on getting a trade feature. Just because the NFL has it? |

Getting higher draft picks may help improve your roster. And I specially think it is kind of fun to manage it. One more thing: by your point of view we should get rid of the draft. Why we need that on RZA? Just because NFL has it? |

I just don't get why many ask for these manager to manager feature(s) while it is always clear that it will be abused major. Only open, manager to many managers features do have some sort of social control. And my personal view on the draft is, that it's right now quite useless, i would be more happy to have a few more spots in YA. |

I know it may abused by some managers. And this is one reason why Iwould limit it to Elite (they are top managers that probably do not need to cheat and it is a more "visible" league, making it easier to control some abuses).
I particularly prefer a draft with more rounds than the YA. We are at opposite sides on this issue but I respect your point. After all, you are a reference in RZA.  |

The thing with the current draft is that you can only sort the guys and then comes the lottery.
A live draft would likely result in different selections. And the quality of players are just too bad in average. Some are quite good or will be good after some training, but most are not good enough compared to ya-graduates. Especially the physicals are often just awful. |
