As predicted, some of the outliers on the APD ranking moved back towards normal; the NCW really had a hard last match after playing over their heads the first 4 weeks.
Here's some stat-based picks for tomorrow's games: (Don't bet on it!) Falcons over the Bobbers by 1 - I can believe this could be a close game. Elephants over Bobbers by 7 - I'd normally pick Bob here, but Dumbo's been flying. Lakers over pitchhitchinners by 4 - I don't believe it. Jaunes over Guardians by 1 - I don't believe this one either. Misery over Prarie Dogs by 10 - I really don't believe this one. Under normal circumstances, Missouri wouldn't even be picked to win. But the blowout wins have overinflated their stats. BTW, Pete, you misspelled Steroids  |

Week 6 on the HAMBURG SEA LIONS schedule: bye @ 2–3
It has been a start to the season as we expected it, maybe even a bit better than that. Those two wins against the Paris Guardians and the mystics were somewhat surprising, but both games were played pretty perfect by the squad. And we have to if we want to win more games, because if we don't we get beat pretty easily, like the match-ups with the Falcons and the Runners showed. We take a good look at what went wrong and make the adjustments to hopefully avoid getting blown of the field in future games this season. One could say that we have the toughest stretch of games behind us now, so there's still plenty of games to gather wins. But we need to prepare meticulously, especially if the teams in our division win today... which would have us two games behind in the NC West. And that would be a tough deficit already to come back from... Good luck to everyone today |

Not many close spreads for tomorrow's matches:
- Sea Lions over Dragons by 4 - seems like a smaller spread than it should be... watch out! - Sea Eagles vs Runners is a pick'em - maybe a half point edge for Sydney, but this is the game to watch this week. - Yorkshire over the Cats by 7 - I'm thinking a closer game than this, but what do I know? |
