I'm considering playing all my players relaxed and sub out when less than 90% energy to lose the rest of my games. As of right now (I haven't played a league match yet) I am in the running for a wild card spot in my league... problem is my players all are terrible. I want to bomb out to secure a better draft spot because if I get into the playoffs I feel like I will be screwed come the draft.

Thoughts?

Most of the managers don't sort the draft... I was 27th to pick last year I think and get my #1, #6 and #9 choices... And you earn a lot of money winning games + moral... Moreover in Playoffs... And all the draftees are far better than your player so I wouldn't go with that choice...

My team is just o.k. this year, but I always play to win. But the choice is yours.

I wouldn't blow the rest of your season just to improve your draft status. Sure, you may get slightly better players come draft time, but you're going to destroy your team's morale and decrease your income the more games you lose. In the long run, you'd be much better off finishing out the season strong and trying to make the playoffs.

Look, I was the runner up in my championship last season so I picked 31st. I got my number 1 and number 6 desired picks in the first two rounds. You never know if you will get the one you want. It isn't like the NFL draft where it is difficult to get those kind of bargains.

The success for a good draft is scouting the draftboard and not the Draftorder of your league.

Use the remaining time to create the right gamephilosophy for your team. For next season you should now how to win games.

Not necessary! You can wait 3-4 weeks before the draft and save money for the Level 20 scout until then.

The draft is not until Feb 23. Your level 20 scout (anything less is probably a poor investment) gets >20 scoutings every update, so you can easily scout all 96 draftees in three weeks.

So set aside $90k to hire a 20 Scout, and $240k to scout those draftees ($2,500*96).

Then all you have to do is decide on a draft strategy!!!!
