It is basically about this: coach replacing penalty

The morale/TC hit for replacing coaches makes sence in my eyes since you can't expect your team to perfom properly if you give them a different coach for every traning session.
Right now there are two ideas flying through my head that both want to get out so i just let them:

1) After firing a coach that specific AC-slot is blocked for like 2 trainings-updates.
So you can't get a new coach right away without the penalty. (But i can't come up with a reason to logically explain why the slot would be blocked.)

2) Every new coach starts with his 'influence' at a minus level and he increases as he stays in the team.
So when he freshly joins his effect is like -40% and with every training u p d a t e he gains +20% until he reaches his full potential.
Explanation: Coach and players have to get used to each other before one acts as the other wants him to.

I personally prefer the second one and i'd like to hear some of your thoughts to this.

I throw in 3)

If you have bid on a coach, you cannot fire existing coaches of that type anymore. This results in a replacement by engine, and the penalty

I thought of that as you wrote it in the other thread, but:
Instead of placing the bid and firing your coach you could just wait till before the auction ends, fire the coach and place the bid.
Same thing.

I would like to see the introduction of contracts to coaches like those who are on contracts have with the players. That way you can fire a coach but it will cost you the remainder of his contract.

For non contract teams the penalties dont change

No, since the bid is still "active" in the engine until the transfer itself would happen. This would work as expected - trust me

Applying chemisty to coaches makes sense to me.

And make player exp work the same as for coaches as well i.e. fast initial increase tapering off as it increases (assuming it's not already that way).

Good idea to 'fix' this loophole.

Whatever works and isn't a nightmare to program gets my vote.
