Well my time will be much shorter then it was during last season, but I will try to keep this updated for discussion purposes and for gigs. So because I had little time I used the last season Power Rankings (as they ended) with a couple of slight tweaks to a pair of teams, but nothing major really. Also and naturaly I went through the teams that got promoted adding their unnofficial Power Ranking to the list, also naturaly those teams (Krewe of Renegades, Walla Walla Work Release, Ravencitos and K.A.F. Guardians) were roughly scouted to have a clue of their potential, also added bonus points to the 2.1 Champ and Runner Up, just because I can (LOL). To finalize I would like to say that this is really just for gigs, don't take this to seriously because neither do I, I do like the fact that my Power Rankings did indeed predicted teh 1.1 Winner last season since the Gladiators finished the regular season in the #1 spot. Naturaly I am gloating and I will not say or mention the number of fails the Power Rankings also delivered so I can exit this full of WIN.

Now since I have some time and based on my Power Rankings here are my predictions to each division standings.

FIRE 1.1 AC EAST POWER RANKINGS

In the AC East there isn't really one team that is waaaaay better then all the others, but the Scheper Rams have in my opinion the edge to take the division so it's their race to lose, Gamblers right behind them , then Islander and Mighty Lions. But one of the more open races should be found in the AC East this season. None of these teams have a real shot at the Championship imo.

AC North features the defending champions, and naturaly they are heavy favourites to not only win their division but also try and win the League again. Don't see any of the other AC North teams causing them trouble really, but would say Nakkiga finishes in 2nd followed by Steel and by the just promoted from 2.1 and runner ups in season 6 Walla Walla W.R. I think apart from the Gladiators the other 3 teams are somewhat balanced amongst themselves.

Magpies are the clear favourites in the AC South, they much like teh Gladiators are a clear contender for the League and winning the division should be no more then a formality really. Aldo having a strong team in the division that could potentialy put some preasure on them, but NasheDeloTabak will have to find his groove as a team and change their approach from last season to make that happen, and honestly I don't see it happening after seeing the players they drafted. So imo it will be Magpies, Lanmeur BZH (a solid team) in 2nd, then one of last season suprise packages the Thoroughbreads comes in a close 3rd and only then comes superpower NasheDeloTabak.

The AC West should be fun to watch, Valdanois start in the pole to win the division for the second time in two seasons, but the Destroyers have a word to say in my opinion, also both the Acorns and Squirrels are no slouch and should be making their life dificult during the long season ahed of us. So my predictions, Valdanois, Destroyers right on their tail, Acorns and then Squirrels with close records. None of these teams has a real shot at the Championship in my opinion.

Well in NC East I think the Underachievers will take the top spot, don't see any other team possibly making their life to hard really, but maybe the Blue Bulls can shorten teh gap that is seperating them from the Underachievers and make it close, also NY as a solid team that can cause upsets along the way, and the Academicals are posibly working on a new playbook for this season, so they are a sort of mistery, but my picks are, Underachievers, Blue Bulls, Big Blue and Academicals. Don't give any of these teams a crack at the Championship game, albeit the Underachievers are a talented bunch...

NC North has the 1.1 Runners up, Lambruschia. Naturaly I give them a full nod in nabbing the top spot, infact I think they will do it with some ease despite having two solid teams in there like Maciucarii and the Spartans, but neither of these two teams are yet capable of dealing with the Powerhouse Lambruschia. Also Ravencitos (just promoted) might sound like a known NFL team that is in the SB this season, but not in RZA so no team will in my opinion put Lambrushia on their knees in this division, hence... Lambruschia, Maciucarii, Spartans and Ravencitos. Lambruschia is a top team and is naturaly a Championship caliber team. I see them beeing again dificult to beat.

Not much to say about the NC South, the Bears should dominate this division, nearest competition beeing Gattopardo who last season couldn't finish with a winning record (8-8) tells you preety much the story, Renegades beeing crowned 2.1 champs in season 6 must be coming up with high hopes in this division and I see them chalenging Gattopardo for the 2nd place, Terrapins will in my opinion be a much improved team and also will be contending for the second place, but that's about it, none of these teams will put in jeopardy the Bears top spot. Bears, Terrapins, Gattopardo and Renegades. Bears I think have a good shot at making the late stages an fight for the crown.

This should be a good division to follow, both Gladiatori and the Eagles have high hopes in the division, I think in the end the italian side might come on top and nap the #1 spot in the division but the Eagles will be right there with them all the way. Remember last season these two teams finished tied with the same record (13-3) so you just know it's coming! both Pako and the new comers Guardians will fight to evade last spot in the division since I can't see any of those two teams causing any upset to the top two teams. GLADIATORI, Eagles, Pako and Guardians. Both GLADIATORI and Eagles have solid sides, both teams will in my opinion be in the playoffs, they can be suprise packages in the postseason but I don't put money in them to win it all.

Awesome write up (and this on limited time...)... No real arguements from me. I do tip the Gamblers to upset the Rams this season just based on a feel from how the Gamblers came on at the end... but wont have any effect on league outcome.

Yep, and it continues like that this week. It kind of shows some parity in our league among the medium of teh table tier teams, but the top teams are still way and I mean way out of reach.

Just want to reference that this week Guardians got their first win on the 1.1 so congrats to them, and also the big win of the Underachievers over what was a similar ranked opponent on the Power Rankings table the Detroyers. 49-9 was a WOOT moment for me! Last but not least, mention to the very solid season the Academicals are putting up so far, this week they schooled N.Y. Big Blue (pun intended) 40 to 23. Good stuff.
