and the WR were tackled by whom?

#1/#2 or #3/#4?


- Does a missed tackle "slow down" a ball carrier? (This would explain, why weaker #3 and #4 CBs can make tackles that seconds eralier were missed by stronger and more talented #1 and #2 CBs)


Yes, breaking tackles slows a player down. I think that was introduced with the new engine or its first update.

ok, thats funny....so, obviously the tackle opportunities in a pass play using dime is always #1/#2, #3/#4, (SF).

Well, that has to be the way the engine works...no man-to-man-coverage, but the #1/#2 know whom to cover...it is like quantum mechanics: you cannot imagine how it works, but its what the formulas put out

Is it possible that the 2 CBs on each side "share" a zone? After the better CBs missed their tackles, the slot corners come into play, and finish off the carrier.
Just a newbie thought...
