I ask this question based on just my own roster.

I have spent plenty of time building both sides of the roster and can't figure why the offense is so far behind my defense.

Offense I have:

5 with 3.5 stars
0 with 4 stars

On Defense I have:

9 with 3.5 stars
5 with 4 stars

The rest are 3 stars or under on both.

Anyone else have the defense progressing by a large margin more than the offense?

How have you drafted over the seasons? I know being 9 seasons in it shouldn't make a massive difference but it might explain it as draftees start off in a better position than other players.

Where do you have your "coaching points"? Do you have more points on offense or on defense? Or do you have them spread out rather balanced between offense and defense?

Offense:

3 x 4 stars
7 x 3.5 stars

Defense:

3 x 4 stars
15 x 3.5 stars

Well Pig's stars and my stars certainly reflect in the production category. He is # 3 pass offense #5 rush offense. On defense he is #11 pass defense and #5 rush defense.

I am # 1 rush offense, but #12 pass offense. On defense I am #1 rush defense and #2 pass defense.

I just don't know what I am doing wrong on developing offense players.
