What do you do if you're the GM this off-season? I say #1 you re-sign Jimmy Graham. Expensive but Drew Brees has stated publicly he is willing to restructure his contract to help the team. After that...I guess you gotta go defense. The defense didn't force many turnovers in the second half of the season. They need help on the back end and some LBs are aging. Starting CB Jabari Greer suffered a horrendous injury late and he's aging (32 I think).

And just one other crazy thing: Draft a kicker! Anybody familiar with the Saints' kicking woes this season? It's time to invest in this position. If I were the Saints, it would be my mission to nab the best young kicker in the nation in this draft, period. We've had kicking issues for 6 or 7 seasons now. Time to fix it. The Saints traded back into the draft (forget the year??) 5th round to get Thomas Morstead (P). Oakland drafted Janikowski 1st round back in the Jurassic period (he's still playing I think). What say you RZA?

a good kicker can be vital

i think ther was a norwegian guy who advertised himself through youtube and was in training camp and preseason games with a NFL team

he would be an alternative probably

whatever it takes man, Saints need to solve this kicking problem. Graham missed 2 FG vs the Seahawks- 6 points!

ok so kickalicious and dBs aside (actually WhoDats put up some dBs themselves- Saints were 8-0 at home, Seattle 7-1 )

Saints need to target K, OL, LB, CB in FA/Draft. Coaching staff couldn't be more solid. #4 offense, #4 defense in 2013. Not much stands in the way of a final 4 appearance for this team in 2014.

main weaknesses for the Saints in 2013 was kicking, O-line (improved late season but was a little shaky early on), and forcing turnovers on D (did well early but turnovers were scarce late- they forced no turnovers vs the Seahawks in the playoffs). Also, they had some problems stopping the run- there were several games where they contained the run game most of the game, then allowed a big run late. A good young LB would help here.
