Season 19 Divisional Playoff
Bretzfeld Bandits vs. Montesacro Mermaids - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ------------------------------------------ Both teams with a nice success reaching Divisional playoffs in Season 19. Bandids with a (12/5) record, Mermaids with a superb (16/0) record this season. Bandids, with a great 38:21 against the Drinkers during Wildcard Playoffs had already a 21:48 loss against Mermaids in this season. They will have to do their very, very best, to beat Mermaids at their Homeground. Nuremberg Fallen Templars vs. Fairhaven Naughty Dawgs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The always loud and stormy Templars (12/5) against, who ? , well, the Dawgs (16/0). We do know the Templars already, so, this was not that unexpected and reaching Divisional playoffs with a great win 31:21 over Craiova during Wildcard Playoffs is a great success, ...however, the Dawgs ? Somebody had taken them into account ? Last season they had a (4/12) record and this season not loosing a single league play ! What happened to that team, definitely one of the surprising teams this season. (Besides Pangolines, Muskets and OrangeCrush. The 16/0 is not coming from nothing, they beated Wildcats 17:14, Stallions twice, 31:9 and 40:23 , Templars already 27:17, and, even Marauders 33:27 in a close match. Seems, they are really heading for Elite ! It will be interesting to see, whether Templars will be able to stop them this time. Saint Etchford Spitfires vs. Midnight Marauders ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We've seen Marauders (13/3 vs Spitfires (12/5) already last leason, also during the Divisional Playoffs. Last season, Marauders had the better end, winning 24:19 at Spitfires, before Marauders lost in next round their Championship Match against Cripplers 27:37 in Season 18. This time, Marauders also have Home advantage. It will be a hard piece of work for Spitfires to make it in next round, however, i'm sure, they work hard to try reaching next round. Wallace Wildcats vs. Saarbruecken Orcs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two long term rivals in Galaxy with a 3 vs 7 wins record for the Orcs (13/3) leading, still, against Wildcats (14/3). Last season Orcs had a 17:21 win against Wildcats in Divisionals-Playoffs, before they lost 23:24 against Hurricanes in Conference Championship. So, the favorite for the match seems to be obvious, however, it isn't. The Wildcats crushed Orcs 38:10 in a season game, and, this was not close. So, why not doing this again, surprising Orcs. HA! I was just thinking the same thing. I haven't been paying enough attention to things though with the holidays being so busy but I expected to lose yet again. You've been one of the tougher teams for me to beat.
And I just looked at the result and I'm quite shocked! I even managed a rare safety against you somehow. Maybe we'll have to meet in the playoffs again next season to see who wins our playoff tie-breaker. LOL Hard_Boiled wrote:
