Hello all and welcome to the weekly football show in RZA that's got all the managers in Thunder talking.
This week we got a for the title in the AC South: true winners home vs Ville Vikings. The Vikings are no.1 but only have a one game lead and an inferior PDR and TDD to the no.2 True Winners. A loss here and the vikings will go into the final two weeks. Also looking at the remaining schedule for both teams and this is a must win game for both teams! We are trying to contact the war rooms of both clubs. Stay tuned for updates as they come in... |

If the Vikings win they get to .500. Both teams knew early that Xu Da was rebuilding and the division was there for the taking. These teams must have other priorities though few come out and say it.

The GOTW staff was away with friends this weekend and oakbark's excellent and detailed reply was not posted before the game but I still think it deserves to be read, so here it is:
Question 1. This is a must-win game. Do you agree and will you play MOTY? You are quite right, and the winner sadly will end up shooting up the draft order, however we owe it to football to try what's right for the integrity of the game, there will be no throwing here! Question 2. You have gone on a bit of a spending spree on the TM spending $41 553 950.00 in the RL month of May alone. Some cynics have suggested that this panic buying to secure top spot. Is that true? We have a young roster we intend to grow the time over several seasons with. we are excited about some of our youth prospects too. It wasn't so much panic as a very poor roster we are paying the price for now. We have bitten the bullet and just trying to get young guys some experience. We are several year from being competitive but our goal is to get stronger year on year. We have tried to add depth and competition throughout the squad whilst maintaining our focus on youth. As we develop so will the market we buy in spending on finished articles. I don't think our transfers have helped this season but in seven years time maybe then we will see some reward. Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? The quarterbacks and which of them takes the game by the scruff of the neck. When the games on the line you need you man to stop up. Are they clutch or will the choke. |
