Palma Suns went BOT. Yeah Looks like I may be in line for a Division title which is rather unexpected. Although it could also come down to the last game of the season! |

With 3 games to play left I thought an u p d a t e would be great, so ….
AC East Burnaby Bruisers Clinched the division and will very likely win all 3 remaining games. They have a slightly better schedule than the Hornets/Sharks, but I’m in doubt they can catch up on PD which is roughly 40+ better for Hornets/Sharks. Likely #3 in the playoffs, possible #2. Marines They did jump the Pioneers and will likely defend that position. Even when the Pioneers game is coming at season final they will likely have at least 1 more win than the Pioneers at the end of the season. Playoffs are out of score and also relegation games will likely not be relevant for them. Trico Pioneers Some losses did sink them to 3rd in the division and they might sink even deeper. The games against the Crusaiders and Marines will show their destiny. Likely will stay at 3rd but could drop to 4th or in some strange scenarios still make it to 2nd. They will probably have to play in a relegation game. Columbus Crusaiders If they want to avoid a direct relegation they better win against the Pioneers. All other games do look like losses to come. Likely 4th place in the division and without an additional win they will relegate directly. AC North Berinsfield Hornets The Hornets are in a crucial position at the moment. The Sharks are right behind them, with equal wins and both teams will face each other on season final. That game will determine the division title. The 1st game between both teams was won by the Hornets, chances are good they can win the 2nd game also, but everything is possible. Whoever wins this will likely get #2 spot in the playoffs. I pick the Hornets as winner here. Louisville Sharks If the Sharks win their division game against the Hornets they will win the division. As said I don’t see that, but still would the Sharks be in the playoffs as best non-division champ at #5. Spawn City Killers The Killers had a late winning streak and did leap frog the Sleepers in the standings. Their game against the Sleepers might become essential to get the 8th win and to secure the 3rd place inside the division. Seasonal Sleepers SC Some losses and Killers wins did let the Sleepers sink a bit. They can still get the .500 record with wins over the Marines and Spawn City Killers. I don’t see them winning both games, so they will likely not leap frog back to 3rd and will finish 4th with a secure place above the relegation games spots. AC South Panteras Assassinas Some surprising losses did let the Assassinas become a team which needs to win all remaining games to win the division title. They can do this, since the Dragons do have a tough opponent on the list and the Assassinas do play competitive teams, no doubt, but none is the favorite. My pick is the game against the Dragons on season final will determine the division title. It’s a home game for the Assasinas and the Dragons will have a CoC game 1 day before. I pick Panteras to win the division and at #4 in the playoffs. Stradey Parc Dragons The Dragons are only a few games way from the division title, but do face some unfortunate circumstances. They play Strike Team to likely lose 1 game and they will face whoever is left in the CoC 1 day before they face the Assassinas for the division title. They might win that CoC game and will just be a bit for tiered than normal, but they could also lose that one and will get into the game with 90% moral, which is a huge hit. I pick them 2nd in the division, but they will get the #6 playoff spot. srib_bdx They are at the moment on a relegation game spot and they might end up at the end on one, but that BOT game on season final might save them. Their PD is so good that any other 4 win team in the league not winning any game in the next 3 gamedays will likely take their spot. They will finish 3rd in the division and will likely avoid a relegation game. Dark Castle Burgthann Fell BOT, will relegate. AC West Paxtang Black Panthers The Panthers are favored to get the #1 spot in the conference. Their remaining games are easy and they would only drop a spot if they would lose on an upset. Cheap Seat Chuggers The Chuggers do not only aim for the .500 club, they will likely get even 9 wins, but will miss the playoffs. Villains and Marauders games will determine that. I see them at 2nd in the division. Medway Marauders Medway is 2 games behind the Chuggers and it seems they will have to be satisfied with the 3rd place. It’s unlikely the Chuggers will lose 2 games more than the Marauders and so much PD. Very likely save from relegation games. X T 3 Survivor Villains They could become one of the teams with 4 wins at the moment winning no additional games for the rest of the season. They might drop to a relegation game spot, or their PD might save them from that. They will finish 4th in the division. NC East Sentinels The Sentinals have won the division, it’s just not official at the moment. They will not only NOT lose all 3 coming games (which would be needed to give 2nd place at least a chance to win the division), no they will actually win all 3 games coming. They will play at #4 in the playoffs. JF Praetorian The Praetorians will eventually get 7 wins to finish the season. That would mean 2nd place and a sure place above relegation games spots. For that they should win against either Crows or Pirates. Trick Play & Hail Mary I see them max winning 1 more game, which is not enough to overcome the Praetorians. With 5 to 6 wins they should be a bit higher than the relegation games spots. Likely will end up 3rd in the division. Lemon Sharks The Sharks will battle against a relegation game. They need to win 1 game to get out of the candidate list, best bet is against I think they can avoid the direct relegation spot, the relegation game will come Trick Play & Hail Mary. That won’t be enough to jump them, since their PD is bad, but enough to avoid the relegation game. I still see them finish 4th and playing in a relegation match. NC North Strike Team Clinched the division and will likely finish a perfect season. Thanks to my teams upset loss they will get the #1 spot. Adelaide Crows The Crows do have the chance to separate themselves from the current same win amount team Eagles with a 3 game winning streak. Crucial games are against JF Praetorian and most essential Newhouse Eagles at season final. Only a win against the Eagle will make them 2nd in the division and #6 in the playoffs. A loss will likely mean same win amount and thanks to a better Eagle PD the Crows would drop to 3rd and out of the playoffs. For now they have the best chances to get the #6 playoff spot. Newhouse Eagles Some nice wins did put them at 2nd in the division so far. The BOT game will be a win, the Strike Team game likely a loss and the Crows game the most essential one. A win for a playoff spot, a loss for 3rd place and no playoffs. I see them losing that game, but it’s a close one. For now I see them finishing 3rd and missing the playoffs by a win. Palma Suns Fell BOT and will likely have to play in a relegation game. NC South Blood Kings The Kings will win the division, regardless of the game against the Snakes. They are 1 win and about 150 in PD up front and even a loss will set them on top of the Snakes. Add 2 BOT games for the last 2 gamedays which will boost the PD even higher and you see that the Snakes will have to wait for next season to win the division back. They will get the #3 spot in the playoffs. Grand River Snakes Next gameday will unfortunate be just for the honor since the division title will be gone, thanks to the PD of the Kings. Still, the Snakes will get the #5 spot in the playoffs. Spaceballs If the Spaceballs win the game against Lightsworns they will avoid direct relegation. It’s a long shot and they will likely lose it, but possible. I see them for now relegating and finishing at 3rd in the division. Coselhense Fell BOT, will relegate. NC West Leverkusen Leopards The upset loss against the Snakes did put my team at #2 in the conference and it will likely end on that spot. The division is already secured. Peterborough Pirates The Pirates did win some crucial games and did leap frog to 2nd. All 3 remaining games could be win, but more likely are 1 to 2 wins. JF Praetorian and the Brawlers are the most likely candidates for that. I see them finishing 2nd in the division. Lightsworns This team did drop to 3rd and might drop even deeper. Most crucial game to secure the place is the game against Spaceballs, which they should win. The real test will come from the Brawlers and their remaining schedule. Pending an unforeseen upset from Lightsworns they have no influence over the Brawlers results and might drop to 4th based on that. I see them finishing 3rd. Bourbon Street Brawlers If they can upset Peterborough Pirates, they can finish 3rd in the division, otherwise they will finish 4th. The good news is, they will avoid relegation games very likely. That’s quite a jump from my 1st summery, where I did see them relegating directly. |

Everybody is welcome to post and do something.
I don't want to put me on a higher ground here, but without me, the Monarch Forum would have 70% to 80% less posts. So feel free to post. |

When you got promoted to elite this forum was pretty quiet. Anyway I keep popping up here as I'm still interested to see how the Monarchs are doing. As things are now with a 8-5 record I have secured my spot in Elite for another season. So I won't be rushing back to join you But still keeping an eye on who'll be promoted and become my new opponents next season. Good luck to all. |

You are not only staying in teh league you might also get a playoff spot, which I think did not happen for Monarchs league members beside the divisional champ since start of Elite, so congratulation. Next opponents? Likely Strike team or my team and Panthers, Hornets or Bruisers. But maybe we will see a surprise. |

That would be quite fast.
Not impossibe, but the training system and the draft system do usually lead to a period of 7 to 10 seasons from start to become a regular contender. We will see. |
