Stepanenko had two traits and good physicals, even if his speed is capped at 44.2, but I thought his all-round attributes (and 3.5 EXP) would make him a solid player. I know some vets think highly of two trait players, and I know just as many (or more) consider TEs merely a 6th offensive lineman. We'll see, its just my second season so I may have rated him too highly.

Moreira was my #23, and Aceski my #17. Still have 11 of my ranked first rounders on the board.

Stepanenko was 42nd and Moreira 27th on my board, but after top 9, it was pretty close, so still good/great players on the board.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound like I was criticising your pick (3.5 exp is great) he was low for me because I didn't need a TE

That's the great thing about the draft - each player is ranked differently based on everyone's need

This is why I like this game - it helps with parity and makes you care about player development

It's funny how different people rank the different players in the draft order on need and preferences. I ranked stepanenko at #80 yet picked up my own #1 Moreira (RB) picking 18th. It would be interesting to know where people had him ranked.

I had Moreira in my 2nd tier. Shortly before the draft, I flipped my top RB back to FB and picked up a RB that I think is similar. Moreira was tier 1 up until that point.

Not a problem. We do indeed rate everyone different, according to perspectives, needs, etc.

I pulled Alex Luna, who was my 11th rated player for the entire draft, very pleased.

Was Luna named Namik Qassem? If so, I had him rated tier 1 on my board. I actually had a few WRs rated tier 1, but Qassem was top at that position for me.

Yes, that's him! Think he was 3rd on my board for the 2nd round, Bolton (went 40th) and Saelua (as was, went two picks before me at 47) were my top two. Luna/Qassem was a nice consolation, effectively two of my top top 11 ranked players I landed (obviously not the top 11 on other GMs boards!).

I'm pretty happy with my draft, considering I was picking 23rd. I have 3 positions that will be thin after this season with a player from each of those areas retiring. I was hoping to draft for those 3 positions, but wasn't going to pass up a great player from another position, since my team can still use upgrades in most areas. In the end, all 3 spots were filled.

In the 1st round I got LB Savio Sala. His strength and speed are capped, but they were already at 45 and 49, so I'm ok with that. Age and teamwork are the only minor concerns, but he's a keeper for me.

In the 2nd round I drafted LB Miroslav Żebrowski. 46 Speed capped but not horrible, 42 strength is yellow. The only problem is 37 int, but he won't be a LB anyway. If the strength caps early, he becomes a DB (probably SS) which I need, if it goes to 45+ I might move him to DE.

I found a gem in the 3rd round. Drafted OL Scott Minnick not knowing if his 43 strength was capped. I found no red, no yellow, so guaranteed 49+ strength! Good TW and only 19 years old. Very lucky.

Sala had some of the best physicals for STR/SPD in the entire draft, combined with a 50 INT. I had him ranked 31st but should have had him much higher. I had Zebrowski at 38, but with 3.5* EXP at just 20-yo there was a lot to like. Minnick was a guy I moved up before the 3rd round started but I got my 42nd overall rated player (more below) before Minnick came up.

Very happy with my draft, which is somewhat mellowed by the fact that I lost my best player (Menezes, my CB and #1 pick last season) because I've been in debt for 3 weeks (entirely my fault).

1st round - TE Stepanenko was my 4th overall, picked at 17. Two traits, good skill scores, but SPD capped at 44.2 and needs his STR pushed up.

2nd round - WR Luna (Qassem) was my 11th overall, picked at 49. Really good scores all round, probable day one starter.

3rd round - CB Tyner (Chakraponse) was my 42nd overall, picked at 81. Makes for a good replacement for Menezes, no caps on physicals and good scores.

3rd draft. 3rd great draft.

1st round: picking at 21 i got my #5 guy Aceski. 20 yo olb with great non-coachables, physicals and good skillset. Instant starter.

2nd round: pick #53 I decided i needed a 50 int mlb, so changed my board to get Achille 2nd choise for the round (34th on my original board). The gamble worked great as he comes with good non-coachables, solid (1 yellow) physicals and almost as good as Aceski skills. Instant starter

3rd round: pick # 85, i got my 9th guy overall!!!. a 19 yo RB with ok non-coachables, ok physicals (str. red, sp. unc.) and fair skills. Backup RB at least untill sp.cap is found.

Reaching the point where i can relax a little, when it comes to TM guys, and wait for the "right" guys to come my way.

Good luck for the season, unless we play each other.
