I'm not sure about this whole calculation if it's waste of time/money.
You need to put serious amount in in order to get something back. And that is dependant on other managers, most likely somewhere around 10% profit. So , I need to invest 50 mil, in order to get 55mil which is split during season... Technically speaking, it's about one week of salaries. Why bother? |

Also, I lean to agree with Ulero here, although I am ignorant of the actual calculations to this point. |

If we don't reach 800 Mil everyone loses, if we reach 800 Mil everyone who didn't commit at least 25 Mil loses. That's the simplest I can put it. And the return is not that great, so we will have to cross our fingers and hope that we get some other kind of benefits from it...

Johnny, this is just for you (you can my original post by going back one page) 
Here is the calculation again : less than 25% of the funding goal reached: around 70% payback between 25 und 50% of the funding goal reached: around 90% payback between 50-75% of the funding goal reached: around 110% payback more than 75% of the funding goal reached: around 120 % payback We have to see if we can make 50%. If we are under we lose money. If we are over 50% we win. |

We need to make a fast roadkill once the season u p d a t e is done to see what is realistic. For example I pledged 50 Mill. So far it looks as if I will have 10. I am selling athletes to make it but so far I do not seem to get close to anything like the 50 Mill.
In other words, don't spend a penny after the season u p d a t e before we have not succeeded to figure out how much we can really spend. Or do you really have 50 Mill everyone ? |

It's utopic to consider than every owner of our league will invest 50M. It's a considerable amount (all my bank account in my case).
But I think than you didn't take the concept in the good way. As I see it (and I may be not understand how it works), our richest teams should invest between 25M and 50M until we reached the step where we get our invest back. During this time, young teams who are just promote and "poor" teams gain extra money from our invest and it helps them to getting stronger. Yes, it will slow our progression but it will fast up progression of this teams. As they grow up they will be able to invest more money and after few seasons it's probable than we can be able to gain a way more profitable payback. But I really think than the first interest of the media center is not to get rich teams richer but to balance accounts in a same league. And in that way i am 100% all-in. |

Why would it slow down our progression if we reach 50%?
At the end of the season you are richer. Just you have 50 millions less to start the season. I never had a balance under those 50 millions in Elite anyway. |
