It's Pre-Elite.
This would put more or less the most competitive 1.1 teams going up and down in Elite in that between-league and leaves the weaker teams and newer teams in 1.1 and blow. From competitve point of view this would make a sense, but at the end it would basically kill the 8 regions setup and level 2 from my point of view. Good? Bad? Not sure. Also not sure it would bring in more managers to stay. |

pete reduced the number of leagues. Why request a new one. Makes little sense.
The regulation game of #3 elite in division vs loser of championship in 1.1 IS the way to go.. Keep the best teams in elite.. |

That seems very judgmental and close-minded. Considering our previous discussion on the subject, I even find it a bit disrespectful. Passion is not always (often?) rational. Hate and love is part of it. Signed: one of THOSE... To come back on the subject, considering nobody seems to dislike the idea and only if it is not so hard to code, why not launch a poll about this play-off game between 3rd of Elite div against League 1 runners-up? |

Because everyone is trying to push Pete into another league structure instead of discussing your suggestion. Make it a thread in the suggestions forum and the process will speed up. I am pretty sure this idea is not mine originally.
Just wanted to back-it up as it is in my opinion one of the 5 best for the game. (I may write a manifesto someday ) Many managers rather stay is L1 because they know they would be bad in Elite. Others definitely deserve to stay due to their division level. Only downside is we may face some ugly tanking games on those games. Last edited on 2019-03-23 11:23:26 by Kanar |

If the bowl winner and/or loser have chosen not to promote then their place(s) go to the 3rd, 4th etc place. If no team has chosen to promote no one from that league gets promoted. This means that no one needs to tank. Pretty simple. |

I don’t know.
In many situations, promoting is not a favor to the team. But on the other hand, I am not a big fan on letting someone deciding not to promote. That’s another topic, but would agree on a way stronger penalty in case of tanking. This and removing Relaxed mode from the game would actualy be improvement #1 and #2 of my manifesto. |
