I am very happy for you. And you won against the current champion and the possibly best team in RZA !

Did I ever thank you enough for your guide to this game ? You have no idea how much you have helped me.

Sure you and many other did. And many did not, but that's ok.
My intention was to make the first few steps easier, and I guess that did work quite well.

Hey everyone! I'm back to my earlier slot after some slow days of work allow me to get some writing in. Hooray for getting paid for rankings! A pretty wild week sees some movement, a giant clusterfuck in the AC wildcard race, a few crazy upsets, and Buzi losing at least 3 fingers from bad gambling debts.

1. (9-0) DC Washingtonians (1)
Enjoyed the bye, then returned to dominant fashion. Just another standard week in DC, minus the shitshow of a debate last night... Actually that might be the new standard in DC.
Games of note left: Pirates, Ravensx2, Runners, Terriers, Lions.

2. (8-1) Comeback Kids (3)
Also enjoyed a bye to deliver a big win. This team is seemingly getting stronger as the season progresses. Add that to the Gangsters recent troubles and they are clearly the cream of the AC crop.
Games of note left: Lions, Wolves.

3. (8-1) San Diego Blitz (3)
With that crushing of the Terriers, (beating them by a combined 100-23 score) the Blitz have all but clinched another division title and reinforced their claim on a first round bye.
Games of note left: TiCats, Dillos.

4. (7-2) Social Distance Runners (5)
The Runners just needed a week of exquisite seafood dining to prepare for a smashing of the Rival Ravens. Buzi's team is once again poised to make a deep postseason run, but he'll likely have to get through DC to return to the conference championship.
Games of note left: DC, Dragons.

5. (6-3) Salt City Pirates (6)
LuLuBa finds his team moving up after a very rough week, just so happens everyone below didn't do anything to warrant moving up either. A loss to the previously winless Leopards should be concerning, but they are still in control of the division. A visit to DC on Tuesday is now looking a little more important than it did last week.
Games of note left: DC, Dragons, Ravens

6. (5-4) Baltimore Ravens (7)
PJ took one on the chin against the Runners this week after losing a heartbreaker to them last week. It's going to take multiple wins against very good teams to get the Ravens into the playoff picture.
Games of note left: Lions, DCx2, Pirates.

7. (6-3) Diorite Lions (11)
A big win against the Gangsters has the Lions in prime hunting form. Still a number of challenging games left but this team has clearly figured something out. Hopefully they aren't cursed going forward.
Games of note left: Gangsters, DC, Ravens, Kids

8. (6-3) LoneStar Armadillos (8)
This week on Dillofacts! Did you know armadillos can transmit leprosy to humans? You can tell because their offense must have lost a bunch of limbs only scoring 4 fg's in the loss to the Ravens.
Games of note left:Terriers, Blitz, Bobbers.

9. (4-5) Helsinki Gangsters (4)
Well, I didn't see that one coming. an 0-2 week from the team with the second highest salary in all of the game. I won't panic for Henry and say he's in trouble of not making the playoffs, but he's definitely now in a position where making the postseason isn't a gimme.
Games of note left: Lions, TiCats, Wolves, Rome.

10. (6-3) BU Terriers (9)
Boston continues winning the games they should win while also getting smashed by the Blitz. The Dragons game in week 15 is definitely circled for both teams.
Games of note left: DC, Dragons, Dillos, TiCats.

11. (5-4) Black Dragons (10)
Dragons continue to be inconsistent. I'm sure they'd feel much better at 7-2. This week is very important with matches against the Runners and Bridges. They'll need to keep pace with the Pirates or Terriers to taste the postseason.
Games of note left: Pirates, Bridges, Runners, Terriers.

12. (7-2) Williamstad Bridges (12)
The Bridges have only played 1 game against a top 12 rated team (not counting week one against soon to be bot WW), it went very poorly. However, they keep beating everyone else, and have swept the division so far. The game against the Dragons this week will give us a better gauge.
Games of note left: Dragons, Rome.

13. (6-3) TigerCats (13)
A disastrous week in the Fire division leaves skeetz with a 2 game lead in the division. There's still some challenges left but they'll need to lose to the Blue and Eagles to relinquish this lead.
Games of note left: Blitz, Terriers, Eagles, Blues, Gangsters

14. (4-5) Chelt Nam Bobbers (18)
Is the the win that catapults them back into relevance? I think it's too late for them, but the schedule is soft and they are just barely within striking distance.
Games of note left: Terriers, Dillos,

15. (5-4) AS Roma Wolves (15)
A close win over the Mascots has them keep pace and right in line for the wildcard spot, however half of the AC has a 5-4 or 4-5 record, so it's really wide open at the moment.
Games of note left: Kids, Gangsters.

16. (4-5) Saker Falcons (17)
The Falcons keep hanging around, taunting us with their potential. They still play a few top level AC teams, and will need 1-2 of those to make that playoff push.
Games of note left: Bridges, Runners, Lions, Kids.

17. (5-4) Rome Centurions (23)
Rome might have had the third best week of any team knocking off the Eagles and Dragons to catapult them into a current WC spot. The rematch against the Bridges could be surprisingly important next week.
Games of note left: Gangsters, Bridges, Blues.

18. (4-5) Marife-Lacion (16)
Took 2 L's over the week and with the hellish remaining schedule Marife should be planning for a season 42 return.
Games of note left: Gangsters, Runnersx2, Pirates, Ravensx2.

19. (4-5) Bracciano Lakers (26)
Yashin probably hasn't recovered from his celebratory hangover after the big win in Helsinki. That win puts the Lake show right in the thick of that middle group looking for a playoff spot. He'll need some more magic with the Wolves and Falcons up next.
Games of note left: Wolvesx2, Falcons, Kids, Bobbers.

20. (4-5) Lyon Eagles (14)
I said he's got the opportunity to be the top fire team, proceeds to drop the next 2 games while the TiCats win 2. There's still a path here, but it's likely as a wild card team.
Games of note left: Lions, Blitz, Ticats, Blues.

21. (4-5) Maykop Blues (20)
Many tough games left with a slim margin of error, the Blues still have a shot but they'll need to play much better than they did this week.
Games of note left: Kids, Rome, Blitz, TiCats, Eagles.

22. (3-6) Hell Hounds (28)
They are barely hanging on, and the only reason I'm not writing them off yet is they've already beaten really good teams. They'll need to get back to that form with a schedule filled with top teams if they want to salvage this mess.
Games of note left: Gangsters x2, Lions, DC, Falconsx2.

23. (3-6) Basterds (29)
Rome's recent run has really left the Basterds in a rough spot. It's looking likely they'll regroup and get the young players some experience before returning in season 42 unless Rome chokes.
Games of note left: Division games are 3/4 last games.

24. (3-6) Istanbul Whitings (19)
Three wins to trick me into thinking they had it, followed by two losses proving otherwise. Only hope now is Rome falls and they can sneak back into second in the division.
Games of note left: Division games are 3/4 last games.

25. (3-6) Philadelphia Eagles (21)
Eagles had a rough week, losing a close one to the Blues and getting blanked by the Blitz. A solid showing in their elite debut. Now they hope to get the easy conference in Galaxy to return.
Games of note left: N/A

26. (3-6) Bretzfield Bandits (22)
The Bandits played the Terriers tough, but are only playing spoiler from here on out.
Games of note left: N/A

27. (2-7) Free Agent Mascots (24)
The rough season continues, at least they get a freebie this week. Sanco will try to go undefeated again in D1 so he can give it another shot for 42.
Games of note left: N/A

28. (2-7) Juggernaut Jackalopes (25)
Plenty of spoiler opportunities for the Jacks with the Wolves, Bobbers, and Dillos remaining, but it's time to think about next season.
Games of note left: N/A

29. (3-6) Space Kraken (27)
They played the Runners tough but this team just doesn't have the firepower to consistently compete in this league. They hope to return in season 42.
Games of note left: N/A

30. (1-8) Leverkusen Leopards (30)
Maybe the Leopards took my advice and tried to have some fun and experiment? Whatever they did, they beat the Pirates and gave the Dragons a little hope.
Games of note left: N/A

32. (0-16) Erudite Linstock (32)
I see no situation where this team can win a game barring blatant tanking. #1 draft pick stops here.
Games of note left: N/A

Thanks everyone for reading and good luck this week.

Can you win back fingers for good gambling? Maybe if he's lucky Buzi can keep them in a jar on his nightstand or something.

Great read Rufio, thanks. Especially like the games of note.
A lucky friendly cup win Steve. And thanks for hosting it. A couple more lucky breaks and Ticats might not be looking for an early draft pick.
