My team manages another win with a last minute TD. Again unconvincing against strong Black Dragons, allowing the Dragons to lead in yardage.

Incredibly real. Not only did Linstock win, but they won against a team I pegged for the postseason.

Both teams still have chances to avoid relegation. The Lakers need to win to keep their hopes alive to reduce the 2 win difference i favor of Roma. The Falcons need this win to threaten sending the vice chmapion back to square 1. Falcons look favorites to me.
BU Terriers 6-4 10 vs. TigerCats 7-3 13
Saturday the unit from boston fell out of the playoff picture. A win at the TiCats could put them back. But TiCats are a real force this season. While they are already looking good for the playoffs, a win might even get them closer to a possible bye week. TiCats defend their home and take thewin.
Chelt Nam Bobbers 5-5 14 vs. Erudite Linstock 1-9 31
The Bobbers will not tank blatantly and wil turn their 3 wins in a row into a series of 4 as they try to force their way back into the playoffs.
Diorite Lions 6-4 7 vs. Baltimore Ravens 6-4 6
Both have a 6-4 record. The Lions have a 2 win advantage and all the chances to take their division. The Ravens are two wins back and fear relegation. At the same time they hold the last wild card spot and this is one of the crucial matches for them in the remainder of the season in trying to secure their post season spot. Ravens will do what is necessary and make the home crowd happy.
Free Agent Mascots 2-8 27 vs. LoneStar Armadillos 7-3 8
While we are all waiting for the next Dillo facts, this match almost screams like it could be the next in line for the Kraken curse to happen. Dillos should win this one no questions aasked. Besides the one from my bookies who now ask for me to prepay my bets.
Hell Hounds 4-6 22 vs. Helsinki Gangsters 4-6 9
Who would have believed, both teams would be 4-6 by now? Both should be batting much higher. For the loser of this one, all hell might break lose as the door underneath them might start to open up. The Houds have a history now to win against superior teams and lose against the others. Are the Gangsters still considered superior?
Istanbul Whitings 3-7 24 vs. Comeback Kids 8-2 2
This could be another one for the Kraken surce. But I believe the Kids will come beack from their surprising loss.
Juggernaut Jackalopes 2-8 28 vs. AS Roma Wolves 6-4 15
Right now the Wolves have a clear path to the playoffs and this match is marked as a clear win on this road. JJ's best hope is to get the Wolves drunk by some punch or something.
Marife-Lacion 4-6 18 vs. Leverkusen Leopards 2-8 30
Is it somehow possible that Leverkusen will not leave Elite end of the season ? Who would have thought one week ago that they would score these two wins in a row? Marife seems like the perfect test. A very strong team that is surely destined to had back to SD1, but not an easy team to beat by far.
Maykop Blues 5-5 21 vs. Basterds 4-6 23
Up or down is the question for both teams. Anything is possible. Basterds need to win as they are two wins behind the Centurions. The Blues need to win to hold off Lyon.
Philadelphia Eagles 3-7 25 vs. Social Distance Runners 8-2 4
I just hope that Rufio will not pronounce anything like the Runners looking like a sure winner. This could motivate the Eagles to do some Philly special and surprise my Runners at home. What would not be a surprise? Surely another late 4th quarter turnaround win with the winning Runners TD in the last minute. 5 out of 8 Runners wins were in this fashion.
Salt City Pirates 7-3 5 vs. DC Washingtonians 9-1 1
MATCH OF THE DAY ! Could it get any better than this? The best current team of Elite against the reigning champion. Luluba has just seen that DC can actually be defeated. Will they hand ptoc his second loss in a row? On the upside this will increase the odds for a bye week for the Pirates. A question to y'all? Who believes these two teams will meet again in the post season?
San Diego Blitz 8-2 3 vs. Lyon Eagles 5-5 20
When you are in third place of your division, seperated from place 2 by 2 touchdowns, The Blitz is not the team you want to meet. Yes, San Diego just surprisingly lost against the TiCats. But solana steve has the best defense of the league and also the fourth best offense. Good luck to the Eagles as luck is necessary for them not to go under.
Space Kraken 3-7 29 vs. Bretzfeld Bandits 4-6 26
The Bandits are looking up, seeing the Trriers lose twice in a row. Will they steal the Boston's place and stay in Elite? Rufio's squad might provide some extra portion of protein on Bretzfelds road to recovery.
Willemstad Bridges 8-2 12 vs. Black Dragons 5-5 11
I had to look hard to find this 8-2 team in the power rankings. Even with a loss at the Dragons lair it is likely that Willemstad will see their Bridges in the Top 10 in the next edition. The Dragons need to win to avoid a steep drop after their last minute loss against the Runners.
Wilmersdorf Wadenbeisser 4-6 bot vs. Rome Centurions 6-4 17
Tullo Ostilio will see his Centurions in the fifth place of the AC after this easy win.

Hmmm ... I doubt I will jump frog Dragons and Kraken at some point, but of cause right now it's still possible.
Some tough games ahead and I would need to sweep my division rivals at least to have an impact. Would be fun, but I doubt it.

Came in 5 mins before game ended and it was nerve wracking.
I was sure my team would lose and would let then score a TD in the last minute, but made an INT near the goal line with a decend return, but no pick-6.

Then my team did play some plays and my genius did throw an INT also, but the return was also stopped and the game did end.

I have no idea what last week was. 2 of the top 5 went 0-2, and another 2 in the top 10 did as well. No one should want my blessing... Bad teams won, even a team without a team went 2-0!? The AC slimmed out a little bit but still has a wide open race while the NC still has a tight one, but a new frontrunner.

1. (9-2) DC Washingtonians (1)
Lost what could be the NC championship game to the Pirates, but also lost to the crazy unpredictable Hounds. Has the magic worn off? Has the White House Rona run rampant through the team? Each remaining game is a challenge, including 3 against division rivals with postseason aspirations. This could be very interesting... Or they could go back to winning 45-10.

2. (9-2) Comeback Kids (2)
A surprise loss to the Blues has them only only 1 game up on the Bridges and TiCats for bye weeks. I just don't think anyone can bet against this team come AC playoff time.

3. (9-2) Social Distance Runners (4)
Buzi's team seems to get hotter the less fingers he has. 4 solid wins in a row has the Runners only down by PD (a lot) from the division win and the #1 seed. They play DC next Saturday in possibly the most important Elite matchup left.

4. (8-3) Salt City Pirates (5)
The Pirates recovered nicely from their surprise loss by knocking off DC and slotting themselves into the #2 seed. Still a couple challenges left and a rematch against the resurgent Leopards.

"It's going to take multiple wins against very good teams to get the Ravens into the playoff picture." Got one against the Lions and got some help from the Dragons and Terriers.

Just as I anointed Steve as NC bye week champion of the world the curse takes hold and the Blitz drop 2 in a row by a combined 2 points. Certainly in no danger of missing the playoffs, but those losses could cost the bye week.

This week on Dillofacts! Did you know the Dillos haven't beaten a top 15 rated team since week 2? And they aren't even top 15 anymore. They've feasted on lesser competition but I'm not sold they can hang with the top 6 teams and that supercup win against DC seems a long time ago.

"Hopefully they aren't cursed going forward." Annndddd they went 0-2 last week. They lost against good teams and no one below them wanted to win, so they get to stay roughly the same spot.

Angus got some help as the Terriers seemingly imploded last week. The Dragons had a consistent effort beating the Bridges and playing the Runners tough. They find themselves one game out of the playoffs, but the Ravens schedule is much more difficult.

10. (8-3) Williamstad Bridges (12)
The Bridges drop a close one to the Dragons and suddenly find themselves in a bit of a race. Rome is charging hard, and the TiCats are trying to steal that bye week.

"I'm here for the draft pick." LIAR! Beats the Blitz and Boston back to back. You are the worst draft pick accumulator I've ever seen.

Rome knocks off the Gangsters and cements his place in Elite for next season while also moving from WC positioning to overthrowing the Bridges for division champs. Saturday's game should be fun.

Bad news? The Gangsters won't stop losing. Good news, only one game out from the division and from the last WC spot and plays both of those teams. The defending AC champ needs this hangover to end and quickly.

"I said he's got the opportunity to be the top fire team, proceeds to drop the next 2 games" Then proceeds to win the next 2 games to get right back into it. Are you guys good or bad?! Joe! Fix your leg and get your nephew in order! They got into the playoffs by 1 point last season and it's looking like a crazy finish again for this one.

Destroys the Terriers to stay in the WC battle and then loses to Erudite which completely throws off every single one of my power rankings. I have no idea what to make of this, so they sit here and think about what they've done.

The Blues with a big shocker taking down the Kids but I think this schedule is just too difficult to keep pace with the other WC hopefuls... but good news for them, I'm usually wrong.

Hanging on to the last WC spot with an easier schedule remaining, but this team is so inconsistent they could go 7-9 or 10-6. I'm thinking 9-7 and PD determines the last spot.

Boston is burning!!! 3 straight bad losses has dropped this team into the bottom of the NC wildcard pack. It's going to be tough to recover from this one and now they are only one game away from relegation. Saturday against the Bandits looms.
