I was checking exactly that, yesterday evening.
I compiled a list from the characters of Star Wars. Issue with that: I cannot mix first and surnames, since we do not need a Yoda Kenobi Or Leia Fett. So, I would have to stick with the characters real name combination, which raises the possibility of players with same name in one team too much. Man, I would have loved to found a "space nation"... |

Rufio here! Covering a very special event that discriminates against space beings! The RZA (Planet Earth) World Cup! I'm going to cover the group draws and breakdowns it what should be an exciting kick off to season 42 and a large sense of pride for these Earthlings.
Group 1 should be a competitive one with 3 current Elite and one former elite team including the #1 overall seed Blitz and the tournament organizing Ducks. The main thing that sticks out here is no group has a higher collective player salary than this one, and it's not close as all teams are spending at the average (or double it). Blitz and Ducks advance. Group 2 is the wild one. Whichever group got the obviously underseeded Bridges was going to be an awful one. The Large Cats from Hamilton, and the Serbian Elephants get to face that luck first hand. The TiCats haven't figured out the Bridges yet in their many Elite matches, I can't see them stopping now. Bridges/Pirates could be a preview for a final 4 matchup as they advance from this group. Group 3 is the most wide open, and features 3 teams from the Admirals region. All teams are in or recently in Elite and had success while up there. The Mascots current streak has me leaning their direction with Austrian Packers also advancing. Group 4 is another tough one to project. You've gotta go with the 2 time defending supercup champ Ravens, but the second team is pretty open. The Wolves rebounded from a bad start to last season to look solid. The Stars made their first trip to Elite. And the Whitings had a fantastic Elite run a few seasons back. I think the Wolves keep their hot streak alive and join the Ravens. Good luck to everyone participating and I'll keep my space lasers focused on your California forests until it becomes a Universe Cup. |

Globally, as I am already not a fan of the EU or regional flags in RZA, a Space one would not be a good news for me. Yet, here my 2 cents remarks:
- If you mix first and sir names, that would become very quickly super incestuous - If you still go with it, you can extend to over SciFi shows and movies like Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, The Escape, The Orville, Futurama, Stargate, Armaggedon, The Martian, Interstellar... |
