Thanks Dumbarajko!

It is off to a good start, but it could go better. I could win the Golden Pothole Trophy vs the Kraken, be awarded 5 mid-season Swayzes, and then maintain ownership of the Golden Pothole in the rematch.

And now I saw that you got 80 yard TD yesterday.

That is something, first long TD against Elephants this season. Is it getting better?

We are almost halfway done with the season and things are still pretty open in most divisions and playoff races.

Bridges and Bobbers are running away, but that's about it.

Monarchs have a combined +450 PD.

Thunder and Sea Devils are much less competitive than I blustered about.

PR Chaser has lived up to his preseason billing, the Elephants are doing it again, and Rio is a nice little surprise.

9 teams in the AC still in the race, 10 in the NC, but five of those NC teams have 1 or fewer losses.

1. (8-0) Chelt Nam Bobbers (1)
Two dominating wins keeps them undefeated. Is this the point I talk about an undefeated Bobbers season again?

2. (7-0) Home Malones (3)
Malones still cruising, added a little playoff cushion with the defeat Elephants and will likely continue until the play the Lions on the 20th.

3. (7-1) Salt City Pirates (4)
Demolished the Elephants and made the Elephans PTSD from last season return. Looks like they'll need to win the rematch against the Malones in a couple weeks to keep the division title streak alive.

4. (6-1) San Diego Blitz (5)
Blitz knocked off DC and the Bridges in consecutive games, big matchup against the Elephants on Saturday to add some breathing room in the division.

5. (5-2) Willemstad Bridges (2)
"The Bridges look better this season than either of their past two championship seasons. And then they lose." And then they lose again. Losing to the Blitz and Elephants isn't a terrible look on a season resume.

6. (5-2) DC Washingtonians (6)
"PR Chaser and the Ticats are next on this very difficult trip." Doubled up PR Chaser and is one Ticats game away from going 3-1 on this trip. The first Ducks game on the 20th is looking big.

7. (6-1) The Masked Ducks (9)
"Ravens twice in 3 games starting next Saturday." They got one and are looking for #2 on Tuesday. Next Saturday's DC tilt is looking like the match of the week.

8. (5-2) Dumbarajko Elephants (8)
..."can they make the Bridges number 3?" They can!
"4 of their next 5 are against last season's playoff teams." That went less successfully. Blitz on Saturday will recreate the tie atop Galaxy, or it will put them 2 games back and fighting for a WC spot.

9. (5-2) TigerCats (10)
"...their next 7 games consist of DC, Bridges, Hounds, Ravens and PR Chaser." And so it begins. DC Saturday, Bridges Tuesday.

10. (5-3) PR Chaser (7)
"an absolute gauntlet... the next eight games." 3-3 is also a solid start. Magpies will decide if they finish the gauntlet above or below .500 on the trip before 3 games against teams with losing records.

11. (6-1) Diorite Lions (11)
The Lions finally get some division games this week. They opened with a tight win over the Hounds and will face a Falcons team that has lost their last 3 real matchups.

12. (5-3) Hell Hounds (15)
"PR Chaser on Tuesday could be important" Impressive and needed win for the hounds who are a half game up in the WC race at the moment. They have BETIS and a bye week. Also, it's not a real ranking unless the Hounds and Lions are next to eachother.

13. (5-2) Free Agent Mascots (13)
Currently one game up on both the Magpies and Sonderborg, the Mascots snuck by the Dumplings before a close loss to the Lions. They'll need the next 2 before facing the Bridges.

14. (4-3) BobBoy Magpies (14)
Couldn't handle the Bridges and couldn't capitalize on the Mascots' loss.
They'll need to keep winning as they only play one non-divisional opponent over .500 for the rest of the season.

15. (3-4) Baltimore Ravens (12)
A tight loss to the Ducks followed by a surprising one vs. the Bonedomers suddenly has the Ravens reeling. Bobbers and Ducks this week are approaching must-win status. 6 losses before playing DC twice is too much to overcome.

16. (4-3) Sønderborg 84-pounders (16)
"Bobbers on Tuesday won't be so easy." Oof, it was not. Next 3 games have teams with a total of 3 victories before the Bridges come to town.

17. (5-3) Spacebar Kraken (18)
The Kraken finally breaking into their division schedule as well with the first Pirate meeting happening on Tuesday. That game will be followed by Elephants, Malones, and Bobbers.

18. (4-3) Rio Stars (19)
"Next Saturday's game against the Mascots is a good barometer before getting into a couple division games." Mascots/Werewolves this week, Magpies/DC next week, let's see if they can come out 2-2.

19. (4-4) 2020 - RETURN OF THE JEDI (22)
The fighting Pete's are skulking around, not out of it yet but need an impressive second half run, which will be difficult with the schedule. Ravens, Bridges, Pirates, Blitz, Elephants. They can only lose 2 of those games.

20. (2-6) Bonecrushers (21)
Someone has scored 30+ pts in each of their games, and 40+ in 5 of them and only 1 of the games have been decided by less than 16. They need quite the run to have a shot, good news is 5 of the remaining games are against teams that have given up or have 1 or fewer wins.

21. (4-4) Saker Falcons (17)
"It's possible this team wins its next 4 games." Or goes 1-3 with 3 losses by 21+. Lions/Hounds are basically must wins to avoid relegation now.

22. (2-5) Juggernaut (20)
This Thunder division could be a fun race to see who stays in Elite next season. Juggernaut has 2 gimmes coming up that should give them an early advantage before the end of season divisional games.

23. (1-6) Rome Centurions (23)
After consecutive playoff births and a WC victory last season, I can't imagine Rome is ready to head back to d1. They'll need some help and especially division wins for the opportunity to try again next season.

24. (2-5) Norfolk Dumplings (24)
Magpies and Blitz this week. Really they just need to beat Bandits and BETIS while taking care of divisional games to avoid relegation, just like Rome and Juggernaut.

25. (2-5) Werewolves (25)
Werewolves find themselves 2 games back of the Stars already for relegation. They'll play Tuesday to see if they can keep up.

26. (1-6) Poznan Knights (27)
Most of their games have been pretty close but the remaining schedule only features 1 team with a losing record.

27. (1-6) Jackalopes (26)
The Jacks get themselves a win but only 2 teams left on the schedule have losing records.

28. (0-7) Bretzfeld Bandits (28)
5 losses have been by single digits, so they've been competitive they just can't seal the deal. They have a number of shots left but are certainly playing for next season.

29. (1-6) BETIS SANPOL (29)
The remaining schedule is difficult and it'll be tough for jfmjfm to pull another win, which isn't a bad thing as a good draft pick is the best thing he can hope for currently.

30. (2-6) Social Distance Runners (30)
Buzi is in the market for young talent, he'll be scouting heavy this season too as I'm sure it's been awhile since he's drafted towards the top instead of the bottom.

31. (0-8) Helsinki Gangsters (31)
Still showing The Gangsters as the #1 pick.

Halfway point has been reached so maybe some Swazye awards are incoming? Maybe just because the Malones can't get the coveted 5 Swayzes even with the impressive start.

Good luck all!

I am happy with the mention to my team. The schedule helped a lot until now. Let's see what happens on the second half of the season.

A 2-2 record will be awesome but sounds unrealistic. Pretty tough opponents ahead. The match against Werewolves is truly decisive.

This game is literally killing me.

1 for 12 on third down. No way.

500 yards from one of lowest scoring teams.

Is it possible?

The Bandits should never be underestimated. Every times I face them it takes a very late comeback to get rid of them.

Pete's made up 3 games on the Elephants in the last 3 weeks - - we now have a legit race for the last stay-up/relegation spots in the Galaxy/NC South.

Other Elite questions / comments?

Bandit get their first win!

FAM is back!

What's going on with Helsinki - - they've wholesaled their team, but are still logging in?

Happy St. Patrick's Day ahead of time. Drink much Guinness (as if Pete needed an excuse)!

Congrats Kanar another closed match .
Only 8 points in two games and what a difference!

How many wins in a row will be your revenge?

I’d sign for 6 or 7. But I would also trade those two wins with the last two losses.

I count now on you to give DCW a very, very hard time.
