I know you did it on purpose... you know I like to be ranked 10th... Pretty easy after my first league match I and Buzi can swap. |

I actually missed your post Rufio! Great writing, as always! You put a little bit of salt on my fresh wounds, but nothing inaccurate at the end.
Happy with #7. We will see how the team plays with its new QB. The target is to stay in Elite in order to enjoy what should be my last 2 or 3 seasons with this team. Then I will either go for a rebuilt or start buying veterans on the TM. PS: if ever you want to cover the RZA Teams World Cup, it will bring extra fun and it will be an honor for the participants! Whoa, you might go after non-Frenchies? It'll be really fun seeing your whole division go at it with each game basically being a playoff game. I might be able to whip something up for some World Cup action. |

Yes. I might. This looks last the last years of a cycle. So either I buy ready to play new guys, or I have 4 or 5 years without Elite players at some key position. In the later, I may go for a full rebuilt instead. We'll see how it goes. I like just as much to build a new team than running a competitive one.

Malones certainly don't belong at #5. I'm pretty confident Rufio did that just so he can claim that I underperformed and can give me less mid season Swayzes.

I think Rufio got impressed by my reserve team winning against your reserve team several times. He did not realize though that your reserve defense coordinator is a big fan of the dime in any kind of situation. So my team is fourth seeded SeaDevil. Which obviously makes for a Top 10 Rank in normal days. I do have my doubts my team can come close to what it has done in the past three seasons. But I will try. In other news I tried to negotiate with Rufios boss if he would pay me to write the game predictions. It seems he refused. Given my financial state I need to make some money though and it might be that I have to actually work my day job a big harder this next time to make ends meet. In other words, if anyone wants to take over the predictions, please go for it. I will try to also put my two cents in from time to time but the next weeks or months look very busy. |
