Good luck to both teams of our group that advanced to the playoff round today  BoaTek had it right. This has been a crazily strong group. And to come out of it with three wins is nothing but miraculous. Now the Sailors will probably take us down but I will try to make it hard for them. Congratulations to BoaTek to advance despite the loss. It's been a very close match as basically all the matches in our group. |

So the group stages are over and on to the KO round we go.
Just incredible how most of the groups turned out with incredible back and forward results. World Bowl has had 4 champions in his 6 editions. In this edition, 3 out of those 4 have been eliminated in the group stages so there is a huge chance that we will crown a new champion in a few weeks. A very special thank you to the 8 teams that didn't make it past the group stages: Paris Guardians by Uaschitschun; Alaskan Fur Trappers by 4 Kings; Pizti Beltzak by Popopotamo; Leadhills Wonderers by JohnHW; San Diego Blitz by Solana_Steve; HAMBURG SEA LIONS by Chrill; Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin by Lions1934 and Braska Bangers 09 by Huskertarr. Thank you for participating, i hope you had fun and if you wish we will see each other next season. Here we go with the quarter finals of World Bowl VII.
This are the games that we have today and we would like to wish everyone the best of luck. Games at 15:00 In QF1, the Trnava Saints will take a first class flight to the US for a meeting against the Niceville Norsemen at Odinson Electric Field. This 2 teams have played 3 times before and the "White Beards" hold the record in their favor at 2-1. Let's see if the "Holly Men" will had lady luck on their side and tie the record at 2-2 and advance to the next round. Games at 16:00 In QF2, the Constanta Sailors will take a fast train to Germany for a meeting against the Social Distance Runners at the English Garden Arena. This 2 teams share a little history in RZA a while back, but speaking about the new era, they have met only once before and the "Marines" won. Let's see if we can witness a little more of that "Buzi Magic" today and if his "Speedy Team" will tie the record at 1-1 and advance to the next round. In QF3, the Ruhrpott Miners will take a fast train to Romania for a meeting against the Constanta Ravens at Ravens Field. These 2 teams have played 4 times before and the record is tied at 2-2. Let's see which one will take charge and will lead in this series. A lot of buzz has been put around this 2 teams and RZA NETWORKS will broadcast the game as the Match of the Day. Games at 20:00 In QF4, the Vancouver Corsairs will take a warship across the Pacific Ocean and straight into the Golf of Mexico to battle the The Pinellas Pikes at Tampa Stadium in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. |
