Is there one pick in each draft that is hands down better than the others? In mine there is one such player. I've scouted them all.

We don't have an obvious #1, imo. I've been sorting for over a week now, and still working on ranking this group.

One guy is great in everything but Strength; another has low-ish Talent; another has low Teamwork. So "ya picks yer poison".

Since I will be drafting late, I rather doubt it matters how I sort the top-10!! I figure with luck I'll get one of my top-20 in Round 1; and a top-40 in Round 2. I'd be quite happy with that. Even the guys that will be left at the end of Round 3 will be starters next season.

Interesting distribution by position: lots of OL, DL and LB (48 in all), but just one QB and 1 TE.

Now, each league has their own draft, right? So Claymore has different set of players to draft than Dragons. Right?

Why would you use a dedicated "draft round" rather than just order the players best to worst? I don't quite understand that features.

Thanks,

I found it was a quick and handy way to ID all the players I didn't want (Round 3).

Another way to use it:
Let's say in two seasons you have 3 great starting LBs on your team, and don't want to spend a 1st round pick on a 4th one. You can label the top LBs as Round 2, and the other LBs as Round 3. (Of course you could just list the top LBs as #33, 34, 35.....)

Be carefull with this labels!
If you label a bunch of players for a specific round, in that round the engine will first pick from THAT group.

So let's make an example:

You sorted your TOP 50 Players the regular way and labeled all players you don't want with "round 3". This might include some players wanted by other players or taken in round 1 and 2 by a BOT.

So now the draft starts and you get 2 picks from your TOP 50 players.
Now comes round 3 and there are still 10 players left on your TOP 50 list and around 20 players on the "round 3" players.
The engine will pick the highest ranked player from the round 3 list!
He will only pick from the rest of the TOP 50 players, if all "round 3" players are taken!

Yes, that's what I was thinking. Why label guys as round 3 rather than just putting them in the back 3rd of your draft list.

Thanks Jack6 for the excellent example!
