AFC EAST
Will probably decides in the upcoming game with NE @ NYJ and the rest of the AFC EAST games. I'm still not sold on Sanchez and I think the Patriots will win the division, but Jets will be right behind them and both will make the playoffs. Bills will struggle on the way and will finish 3rd. AFC NORTH Funny division, the sweep of the Ravens vs the Steelers will land them the division title. Pittsburgh right behind them. Bengels will finish 3rd and probably with less wins than the Bills. AFC SOUTH Texans first and then the rest. i don't think Tennessee will get more wins then the Bills. AFC WEST Looks like an open division, Oakland with a tiny advantage. Anyway, the winner will be 4th seet and will probably get decked in the playoffs. The rest will have to watch the playoffs on TV. NFC EAST NYG look like the frontrunner to finish first. Dallas has to sweep the Giants to get into the playoffs. NFC NORTH The Packers first, I'm not sure if Lions or Bears second, but probably both in for the playoffs. NFC SOUTH Still open, but Saints in control. Might happen that Atlanta will not get in. NFC WEST SF and then nothing. Further to come. Here we go: So AFC: first round bye: Likly Houston and New England (maybe Baltimore) Wildcard: Baltimore (or New England) and Oakland, Pittsburgh and New York Jets NFC: first round bye: Green Bay and San Francisco Wildcard: New Orleans and New York Giants, Detroit Chicago Well ... looks OK, I'm currious, who it turns out. Niners may just have home field advantage if they fair well against Ravens. Rest of the schedule is pretty easy while the Packers have a brutal schedule to come.

Looks like I was badly wrong in a few places then... the Jets are slumping, the Chargers have gone, and the Bills will now be lucky to make 8-8.
I believe the Ravens demonstrated the true level of the 49ers - unable to compete when faced with a decent Run D as they have no passing game to speak of. Plus the Texans are now on their 3rd QB - can they get there with their running game alone? I hope it is now Patriots vs Packers in the SB now as that would be entertaining, but I feel Ravens vs Packers is more likely. Pittsburgh are also grinding out wins but still feel somewhat unconvincing. |

Green Bay all the way.
I don't care who they play in the playoffs or if they go 16-0, as long they repeat this year as.....WORLD CHAMPIONS!! |

Patriots vs. Packers would be awesome.
Best QBs in the league, Green Bays receiver corps, New Englands slot receiver, GBs defense relying on interceptions -G.O.A.T- won't allow them too easily, NEs troubled defense with all the injuries... Sounds like a high scoring game with 400+ passing yards for both teams. But then again: It's the Superbowl and the stakes are high. Maybe less scoring and NE going for a win with a three point margin... Tim Tebow would say: "First an foremost I want to thank my lord and saviour Jesus Christ" that you never can tell... |

The Niners on three days rest traveled across three time zones in an away game and were in the game the entire time. In better circumstances they could have just as easily won instead of lost this game. I think the opposite of you, that the Niners showed they are contenders by staying in the game despite the handicaps they faced. |
