So I've scouted almost 20 players in the next draft and while doing so it occurred to me where there will far less of a chance of us getting our top 10 picks in 1.1 compared to last year. Scouting, rating, and organizing the draft is going to require more detail and work.

I have taken a quick look and noticed that there are no QB's at all in this (next years) draft.
Glad I have 3 good ones already. |

Just a small note on the position distribution.
The engine tries to create players in the same distribution as you have them on the field. Means 1 QB, 2 WR, 5 OL... This might lead into the situation where you don't have a QB within the 96 players to draft. I will write down that I have to force the engine to create at least X players of each position - for next draft/season. |

That would be nice, Peter
One of my QBs is retiring at the end of this season (and my starter has already 28) and now I don't have even the chance of signing a new one in next Draft because there are none in it I can go to Transfer Market, of course, but I want to build my team based just in Youth Academy and Draft |

As i am working on my Excel Sheet I got a short question.
How do you involve the age of the players in your drafting order, donĀ“t care or do you think thats very important. Reason i am asking i got a player rated #1 but he will become 23 on Draftday. If I took him over a 19 Years old guy i listed #2 i will loose 4 Seasons of playingtime. Thanks for helping Last edited on 2011-12-12 10:28:07 by Tarjan |
