Not really got a dislike/hate list but my favourite - which has been such for as long as I can remember is the Redskins. The reason for this are for the following reasons....
1. Being from Scotland - support a football team called Motherwell - and the colours are similar to the 'Skins, so when looking for a sports top to wear that is not football that I can wear to the football well it's easy. 2. When I was a small boy my auld man went to Washington, and brought back a top (going back to the 80's here) and well I still have the top. I also got a pair of jammies too lol! |

Hail to a fellow Redskins fan....though i gotta say pal its a bit of a stretch to say that Motherwells colours are similar to the Skins!! Mainly yellow shirts they have dont they?
But whatever the reason...good to hear youre a Skin! |

- Lions Fan and Detroit sports fan in general. In order of interest:
-NFL - Lions -MLB - Tigers (Guess two fat guys playing CI isnt helping) -NCAA - Michigan Wolwerines -NHL - Red Wings -NBA - Pistons Believe it or not but i first started to like Detroit sports because of the Pistons, (The Bad Boys) loved to see them play specialy Isiah Thomas, still have his jersey carefully (or not) stached in my house. From there i started following the NFL, Lions sucked but true fans dont turn their back on any team because they are going trough a tough stretch (And it was a long one) so i continued to follow them and their consecutive lossing seasons (yes i know i know 0-16 in 08 i wish i could delete that from my brain, any thoughts???  ) but once they put Jim Shwartz in there i finnaly got some hope cuz that guy he's the kind of manager the Lions needed, and the fact that they finnaly started nailing the Draft picks also has helped a toon, N'suh and Stafford are the 2 most notorious cases but theres more talent in Detroit other then them, Fairley is a Beast and this season should prove to be dominat Pass Rusher in the division, our Secondary has been our achiles heel for some time but i believe they will improve this season, same will happen with our LB core. We also picked up a young T to refresh our OL so i can see the plan in what they are doing and it feels great to be a Lions fan!!! 
-Dislikes Everyone else i am a one team fan not multiple teams. I rooth for my Lions/Tigers/Wolverines/Red Wings/Pistons and that is it! -Hate DA BEARS I wouls go Ninja on everyone that plays on that team, i just dont like them. And the Lions allways seem to get hurt by bad calls when they play them them. Starting to Hate the 49rs litle bit, after that incident between the 2 coaches where Jim Harbaugh showed lack of sportsmanship triggered it for me. Cant wait to meet them again. IMO its going to be like watching a Stellers Ravens game, and i love it!!! |

@ canonico - I met Wayne Fontes once when the Lions came to London - in the National Gallery of all places. He was a real gentleman, a giant of a man by comparison to my smurf-like self. I've felt a real affection for the Lions ever since, because he went out of his way to make time in his very limited private time to talk to a British fan. I never thought he got the respect he deserved during his tenure as a coach.

Fav teams
1. New Orleans Saints - I'm a Saints fan since the mid-90's mostly because I like their team logo, it's a fleur de lys, which is also Québec's symbol, the fleur de lys is on our flag. 2. Tennessee Titans - Because I love Miley Cyrus and her hometown is Nashville. 3. San Diego Chargers - I started being a LT fan around 2004 and since then I like the Chargers, they're still one of my fav team even now that he's gone to NY Jets. Hate these teams: 1. New England Pats - They wins all the time and everyone here in Québec likes them. 2. New York Giants - I hate Eli manning cuz he didn't want to play in SD 3. Indianapolis Colts - I hate Manning and they're in same division as Tennessee. 4. Denver Broncos - Same division as Chargers and I hate Manning. |

Another Eagles fan joins the thread.
As a Dane I wasn´t introduced to the sport untill early-to-mid 90´s (when I was around 15). Back then my cousin had just moved to Philadelphia and the Eagles had #12 at QB, so that was the team i "chose". As the TV-station stopped showing NFL-gameday (or whatever it was called back then), I lost interest for a few years. Around 2000 they started showing weekly matches (and gameday) on TV (again), by then #5 was under center and I "fell inlove". I wonder if that makes me a bandwagoner? Can´t say there´s a set number 2-5 on my "love-list", but there are teams i wish well: Packers, 49´ers, Lions, pre-scandal-Saints and "Manning"-Colts. My "hate-list" is a lot more clear cut: #1: Patriots. #2: Cowgirls #3: Bears #4: VaGiants. |

Go on I'll admit it.
I'm a Browns fan and have been since the late 70's. Hate Art Modell for taking away a championship team to Baltimore. Don't like new owner that much as it appears he doesn't want to win anything. Oh! btw I'm english and from the area of Cleveland, hence the reason to support them. Don't particular hate any team, but it is always nice to see the Steelers lose. |

I am a dolphins fan have been ever since the superbowl loss to the 49ers. Luckily i managed to go to the American Bowl a few years later and saw my team play.
