I'm using the same Game Setup today. So far no punts.....I'll u p d a t e as soon as there is a punt. (darn fumbles!)
Okay - First punt at 2:00 to play in 1st Qrtr: Valerio punted...no sign of Mathias (I'm docking his paycheck this week!) Valerio still punting at 14:26 in 2nd Qrtr. (Can you access my Standard DC to confirm Mathias is listed as #1 Punter? That's what I show on my DC view, and my game setup shows I'm using the Standard DC.) Had a look at your settings, looks good so far. Could you please use the same settings for a 3rd game, and switch to "Subsitution: Based on Fitness / Energy only" and a 4th, "block subst for P/K"

If you remove the kicker from the punter position on the depth chart does it use him or another player still?

Haven't tried that yet - let's call that test #5. Today I'm just doing test #3. I might try test #5 for the CupofChamps match.
This is probably some stupid little thing I'm doing, but I can't see it, and I have looked and looked. I did make some changes to my Standard Game Plan, as I'm getting tired of my losing streak.  It should not affect the DC issue, though.
(Valerio is doing an okay job of punting - I'm probably conceding only 4 or 5 yards per punt exchange....so this is not causing the losing streak. It seems losing is the idiot manager's fault.)  Last edited on 2012-01-17 17:36:16 by Lee1950 |

Well - today's game worked fine - Mathias got off his butt and did all the punting.
The only difference I can see between today and the prior two games where Mathias did not punt, was ticking the "Based on Fitness / Energy only" button instead of going with no subs until the 2nd quarter. Anyway - I'll keep an eye on it - since no one else has reported a similar problem, it doesn't seem to be a system thing. |
