thats not cool!!! the skill based wage that non HR guys use should be saved and used by non HR managers when they buy players. as it is its a massive advantage to HR players so why have the option of not using it when its pointless

so you think this should change?

No, it shouldn't change.
I'm using HR, I think it will save me a lot of money in the medium/long term. However, one of the GREAT aspects of RZA is choice.

I absolutely love the number of choices here :- there are hundreds of ways of earning money, and hundreds of ways of spending money (facilities, staff, transfer market, stadium etc etc).
If people want to go down the HR route then that's their choice, if they want to stay on the skill-based wage route then again that's their choice.

I think that restricting choice is a bad way forward in RZA, that's why I'm against the current discussions on "transfer market restrictions", if people want to spend 40/50 million on a player then good luck to them, I wouldn't want to, but .... and this is the IMPORTANT bit ... I want to have the CHOICE of whether I spend loads on the TM or loads on facilities or loads on Stadium building or just choose to keep the money in the bank

I agree with all the stuff you put in here!

The question is:

if a HR manager is giving a 10 passing QB a 1 million per week contract, and sells him, should the buying manager - not using the HR - be forced to spend that 1 million until season end or not.

Is it a bug or is it just as it is

It's fine as is ..........

(a) If anybody thinks HR gives an advantage...then they should switch to it !
(b) always CHECK the player you are buying, including his wages. If you think a HR manager has given a player too high a wage then DON'T BUY ! .....
over at -TOG- I made the rookie mistake that most people make i.e. looked at my Roster, thought "these players are crap, time to buy some better players" ... I found myself a good OL and RB, nice and cheap too ..... what was the catch ? after a day I worked out what the catch was .... HUGE wages that would have bankrupted me within weeks. Lesson learned .... ALWAYS check the wages along with other factors (age, injuries etc etc).
