When is the right time to activate the HR Department?
Would activating it now be a waste since the season rollover is so close and I'd lose a contract season that way? How does it work exactly? Any hints and tips are welcome! |

I don't see you listed in the Top-100 salaries, so I don't know that there is any urgency.
HR will allow you to save on some salaries, but until it becomes a problem (like #1 salary Bengals Udine) I wouldn't rush to start. I don't know that players look at the remaining length of the current season when you negotiate with them (can anyone answer that?). Without knowing that, it's hard to know whether to start HR at the beginning or end of the season. I lean toward the start, as that gives you time. - sign everyone to a "this season plus 2 more" contract - sign anyone who will play for less than their current salary immediately - consider postponing signing anyone whose counter-demand is a lot higher than their current salary until late in the season - don't wait until the last minute to sign a player, because if you fail to sign them they will leave at the end of the season - so give yourself a few weeks just in case, to plan selling them and replacing them - if you are waiting to sign a player, consider adjusting his training to skills that won't increase his salary demand (Spd, Str, and secondary skills that are lower than his primary) |

For me I'll leave to saler over HR only beacause you can fire your players.
And mine could still change alot. And most if not all the guys I just plain fired would aren't worth selling. But this will be my 3rd season And I don't see any real saveing for useing HR. vr the ablility just to fire the guys that are now dead weight with some else coming in off the TM. |

I went with the HR because it felt like it was more realistic, and made the game more fun for me.
I like options |

I changed to HR this season(after a season and a half of playing). I did it because I started training position skills instead of focusing only on physicals.

its best to use it at the begining of season, beacause estimated salary is close to players actual salary then, so you dont have to give wage rises to players (unless you franchise them)
