I would like to suggest again, to extend the first playoff round (now Wildcard games) from 48 to 64 teams. The best 64 teams start all with a head-to-head game, without a bye week for the best 16 teams.

The reason is the disabled MOTY for the playoffs. Last season it was an advantage for the Top 16 to have a bye week. Now it could be an financial disadvantage to have a bye week.

I think it is a little advantage to have a wildcard game. If you want to go far in the SC-playoffs you have to beat every team. When you loose a game it is not so important in which round you loose. If you go to the final it would make a difference, whether you played 4 or 5 games.

agree, but that also happens to the #1 and #2 seeds in the league playoffs.

There it is a little bit different, because with the #1 seed you have the homefield advantage in the playoffs.

Not a really big advantage, but one extra week of rest can be useful.

Without MOTY in the playoffs you will not loose more than 8% PC in one week.

i am saying, that 8% is a lot, when you dont have PC boosting buildings activated.
