Looks like our esteemed colonial friend here is what we call splitting hairs. Your OP is suggesting moving the yarding one yard back to include the 30 yard line as being inside the distance but your example of from the 31 yard line which under the engines rules would again be outside the distance the engine would see and the FG would not be attempted.

As for the idea mate

Hosh, we cannot setup distances based on yard to yard, so that is beside the point. If you want your team to kick a Field Goal from the 31 yard line, you have to setup to be <35 Yard line.

Using Possibilitie #1 the 35 yard line would also count as beeing inside that range.

Using Possibilitie #2 would mean <36 Yard line thus the 31 yard line would be inside that parameter.

But main point is we can't s e l e c t yard by yard as you are aware so your point is mute.

You do realize that if you have your Field Goal set to come in <30 yard or 35 or 40 yard line, and you are right on the 30, 35 or 40 yard line that it won't come in right? You also realize that it can cost you games, right?

But to each it's own, guess you haven't realized that, or you did but you don't think it's important, either way it's your opinion.

The 30 yard line is one continious line that runs parrallel to the goal lines and is met at either end by the touchlines. The 31 yard line is eight hash marks (four at either end of the field) that are just a few feet in length (combined)

You also realize that if you simply don't have it set on a high enough number to give your K a chance to actually kick that it might cost you a game, right (like < 60)?

3 points, a win, a trophy, promotion, relegation a combination of all these things.
