in my friendly cup game today my secound string HB(Les Terry) was taking all the snaps in formations where there is only 1 HB. Even tho my main HB(Shirley Barber) had the same PC to start with and every skill and physical is better, the only thing that is worse is his experience. I checked my sub rules and depth chart and all are fine, so I dont understand why this happend.
The first example was late in the 1st quarter: 3:22 2 and 10 to go on opp 12, Jerry Richard (OC) snaps the ball to Ted Fain (QB), who hands off to Les Terry (HB/C), he starts running over the left end, Les Terry (HB/C) tackled by Jakub Votava (DE/L), forward progress: 1 yards (I-formation vs. 3-3-5). The other examples were all in the secound half. Can anyone explain why this has happend?? |

With no subst: the engine pics the #1 from the dc and sticks with him until he gets injured.
With subst: the engine pics by dc position if above your set energy level, and by energy once the players are below energylevel |

As for the engine picking the best player from the DC, this should not happen as it should be down to the manager who plays. Secoundly this is the first time ive seen this happen with my HB's and i have not changed the DC, so i dont see why the engine would suddenly decide that my #2 HB is now the best. And thirdly, if it was the engine that choose my secound string HB as being the best. Then i think the engine needs some work when it comes to picking players because if you scout my HB's you will see my main HB(Shirley Barber) is better in all skills, phisicals, intellegence, team work and the only thing that my secound string HB(Les Terry) has better is experience. |

I have no real solution for it, but I doubt this is an engine problem. Why? So many games are running, and we received no reports...
Could you try to reproduce that with your roster and DC? |
