Have time today because it's saturday to do a bit of review of opening day and...

LOLOLOLOL I like it!

Nice to see upsets brewing up early on, certainly will spice up the next round of games. PAKO beating ROMA was indeed a "WTF" moment for me to, but it seems like our italian friend might of not taken PAKO team serious enough, and got beaten on opening day! Bears getting beaten by Eagles was also a upset in my opinion, but not one of similar dimension as the Pako vs Roma game, still major game by the Eagles defense limiting the Bears to 1 TD and 10 points scored total, giving their offense a chance to win the ball game, which they did! Don't consider the NY win over the Bulls an upset, I mean it was more expected for teh Bulls to take the opening game, but playing in NY the Big blue won it by a couple of points, they started winning that one early to, with a 16-0 first half... Great win by Nakkiga over teh Rams by a single point, like our friend Skepie already mentioned his team loss came in a Hail-Mary with 16 ticks on the clock better yet the TD tied the game, the PAT converted successfully won the game for Nakkiga (very entertaining). Gladiators, Lambruschia, Magpies, Underachievers all won their games more or less confortably, meaning the win of these teams was never in jeopardy. For the just promoted teams all had tough days and all had losing efforts, specialy mention to K.A.F. Guardians who despite losing to Macciucarii made it close in teh end by losing by 30-24, a one possesion ballgame. All other promoted teams had more dificulties but I'm sure they will overcome that in a hurry. That's it for this week I know I didn't covered every game, but that's just to much to do at the moment, but in teh future I will try to address every team. Menwhile make sure to also post your views of the games in hand to provide healthy discussions!

PS: Mighty Lions colapse on the 4th quarter agaisnt the Gamblers blew up any shot they had of winning that game...

Canonico you are my idol!
fantastic analysis as usual!

what to say!
I missed the first round, do not look for excuses, I do indeed congratulate with PAKO TEAM.... you adjust your defense with nice choices at the draft!

The only thing I can say is .... BEWARE the GLADIATORI!
I'm reorganizing the technical staff and the offensive playbook!
I've made a lot of mistakes this week! But anyway I planned a few defeats in the first match of the season due to low chemistry and morale!
But I will be back soon to pound opposing defenses!
Good game guys.... good season to all of you!
it's nice to play football!
it's nice to be with you!!

No to take anything from your analysis and to the Gamblers win, but lossing my #1 QB (Twisted knee never returned) in the beggining of the 2nd quarter played a major role in lossing this game, my 2nd stringer threw 3 picks providing 17 points do to the field position where my opponent ended up after those 3 picks. Also my offense naturaly is better with my #1 QB than with my #2, but it's part of the game and the result is what stays in the record book, the rest is pure speculation.
