It would mean that Galaxy 1.1 would move to the top of the ranking since it had produced 5 different bowl winners in as many seasons. Admittedly, we haven't kicked butt in the major Cup competitions (yet), but that's about to change from this season onward!! |

This is for me the real strength of a league. It's a cumulative of the points of all competitions so it rates the strength of the league not the competitiveness. The Thunder league has only been won by two teams also. Admirals, Galaxy and Monarchs have all produced a different winner of the top league each season. The league to produce the most bowl finalists - Monarchs 7. However they have yet to have a team make the SC or CoC Finals in fact only one side has even made the semi finals and they only won promotion to 1.1 last season. But then you could argue that the Galaxy League is the most competitive as it has produced the most Conference Finalists with 12. However, San Diego Blitz and Cameroon Turtles have both made the bowl 3 times each. If you want to drill a little deeper then you could ask about the number of different divisional winners which then produces a different result with the Sea Devils coming out on top. However, two of those winners are teams called Team 1.1.2 and Team 1.1.5 and would you call a league competitive where nearly half of the divisions in the league have been won by just one side each (Leeds Celtic, Lucea Cardinals and Naprzod Marsz). In terms of the number of sides who have made their league playoffs or the final 32 of the SC or CoC then all of the leagues are surprisingly close. Statistical data can be manipulated in lots of ways to say pretty much whatever you like. However if you are asking for the team and league that goes deeper into the playoffs most often then the answers are Landru Athletics (just about) and the Admirals League. For another league to knock the Admirals off their perch this season then all that leagues teams need to be knocked out of the SC and CoC before the last 16 but history tells you that, that aint going to happen. However Buffalo, in season 4 it was an all Dragon's CoC final. If Dragon's weren't strong then that wouldn't happen. I would put many other teams in our league up against teams from yours and expect there to be many victories. I mean, damn, Dragons has probably the #1 or 2 team in all of RZA.

Admirals are down to Sinna Ladd Tromso and Shard End Sharks in the last 16 of the Supercup.
Is the gloss off Admirals?  
Galaxy is sending 3 tough contenders. The games are on!

I don't think so Admirals have the only team left who didn't make the league playoffs showing the depth of the league in terms of quality. |
