I'm gonna spend everything I have, next wave might be worse so it's better to have better players faster and train them and win games with them

I resisted bidding more than 135million on any single player. I feel pretty good about only spending 80 million out of all of those players considering I am one of the exclusive billion dollar spender club. Well there are 2 of us and he didn't spend anything.

The prices didn't go crazy at all for the players they were. Considering the recent spree of what many here have said are the best players to come out on the TM this is where they placed in the top 100 of all time transfers:

#15
#16
#19
#24
#29
#36
#39
#70
#90
#96
#100

I would totally have traded my 182 million dollar Weiner for almost any of the guys in this last wave and saved 15 to 60 million.

Now those were the prices in the first wave...so it stands to reason prices might drop or at worst level off here. Perhaps we have reached the apex of the TM prices?

Haven't seen any players like those since so far though.

I was surprised as well. I guess people really thought the TM will be full of these superhuman players and prices will drop further before they make their move. But it seems Pete listened and apart from the first two waves, the last couple of days were "only" filled with regular draft types. Those gunning for the monsters are surely hitting their heads to the wall right about now

I'm not saying prices won't go down any further, or we won't see the occasional steroid junkies again here and there, but this seems like a nice price range so far.

Still I wish I didn't spend 121 millions in the post-draft TM madness for a LB with low capped speed...could've gotten a real stud for that money!

Now if only there were a purchase cap so we playoff-money-makers don't have all the advantage... (I'm sure to be loved for this comment )

well listen.... it stands to reason the money going for the players will be smaller since there are more available. I've always figured bids are not won/lost because of the money involved but because of the time and effort it takes to win such monster players. You combine those two factors and of course the price is going to decrease rather substantially from previous standards and I predict even more so.

Again even with these guys being way more superior than any other FA we have seen its a combination of a buyers market and is it worth a managers time and effort to try to make this deal happen. The actual price tag isnt even in the radar.

But to answer the question... of course I'll wait... I've chilled before all this... what do I look like camping out on Black Friday?

there is no diff from the second round to todays round.

i pick on random skill combination, even doublevtraits are possible btw..., and then i pick random one player out of the top1000 of such a combination...

the difference to the very very first round is that i picket only the "str+spd" guys, and no other combinations...

edit...the possible age was raised...to 29

For myselve the TM works nice got to draftplayers (22/24 QB/RB) for my roster combined for just over 20 mio

I am not sure what to think now, good: low money good players or bad: not enough money gone out of the game...

The other thing is to raise the prices of the players on the market on purpose is dangerous, the rb i bought was just cause of the "the price is to low i got to bet" thing but he is OK and now i got a threeheadedmonster in the Backfield

Yea, this seems to be a little slap in the face to all those that did buy such players for 100 of millions before, havent scouted those 2 but if the prices will become that for players you can easilly buy a totally new team when the time comes.
