So I have two drafted QBs on my team and both have very similar skills and experience and they're obviously surrounded by the same players and play against the same defenses so I think their stats should be comparable, however one seems to be consistently outperforming the other one and I don't understand why.

Here are my guys' skills first:
Nils Marchal: INT 45.7 - TW 44.3 - PAS 26.3 - VIS 25.0 - STR 41.3 - EXP 2*
Raymond Vincent: INT 48.2 - TW 44.3 - PAS 26.1 - VIS 26.0 - STR 38.6 - EXP 3*

So Vincent is a tiny bit smarter, has one more star of experience but is slightly weaker than Marchal...

Here are their stats first only in league games (no BOT involved) and then overall.

League (Fire 1.1)
- Marchal: 56% completion, 5.6 yards per attempt, 1 TD every 39 attempt, 1 INT every 155 attempt. Rating: 78.13
- Vincent: 44% completion, 4.0 yards per attempt, 1 TD every 38 attempt, 1 INT every 16 attempt. Rating: 38.52

Overall (including SuperCup)
- Marchal: 54%, 6.5yds per att, 1 TD every 14 att, 1 INT every 100 att. Rating: 93.49
- Vincent: 46%, 4.6yds per att, 1 TD every 18 att, 1 INT every 22 att. Rating: 58.33

As you can see Marchal is consistently outplaying Vincent in almost every possible measure even though their skill sets seem to be extremely similar which is baffling to me... Is there something I'm missing that's making Marchal much better than Vincent?

Roughly the same.

Marchal 836 snaps.
Vincent 863 snaps.

im surpriced by the stats as i would have said vincent was the better QB in terms of skills and exp. I have no clue why the stats are so diffrent.

What I was going to say. Thought it may have been a sample size issue (and could still be) but they've taken a good few snaps - a better question would've been passing attempts lol.

Is Vincent your starter? It could be that he facing you opponents best DBs then as substitutes come in Marchal faces weaker DBs?

You are using a QB rotational system or using a QB per game without substituting him?

I assume you are using a rotational system with both playing in the same game (averaging the same # of plays per game). I would suggest that you try and let them start and finish games and then compare their stats, naturaly every player can have bad days so it would take more than one game a piece, but that's the way to go if you want to compare stats in my opinion.

Vincent was the starter and now it's Marchal so they probably have faced the same quality of opponents...

And yes, I thought the same, Vincent should theoretically be slightly better than Marchal but Vincent keeps throwing INTs left and right for some reason.

As for the # of attempts, Vincent passed a bit more than Marchal.
Vincent: 351 att
Marchal: 299 att

which one is your no one on the depth chart?
just an idea:
Maybe the worse stats are are result of the starter playing against the stronger starting defense lineup ?
Or is there a huge difference between your starting receivers and backups (which in my opinion could lead to less caught passes for your backup qb and more interceptions if the defense backups are equal)

The problem doing that is two fold.
1) They won't face the same opponents so if one outperforms the other I'll never know if it's because he played better or because the D was worse.
2) They'll get more tired during the game playing 80 snaps instead of 40 snaps each so they would both perform even worse than they currently do.

So your assumption was correct, I basically give them 50% of the snaps in each game.

I've changed the #1 in the middle of the season so roughly half and half.
And I have 1 draft WR who's slightly better than the others but from #2 to #5 WR the quality is pretty much the same so I don't think that's the issue either.
