A friendly cup for American and British teams to clash in a somewhat friendly forum: Yankees vs. Redcoats Friendly Cup.

If you’re an elite American team and would like to participate, contact Solana_Steve / SD Blitz.

If you’re an elite British/English team and would like to participate, contact bwadders76 / Shard End Sharks

You're German so you just need to stop at home, call yourself King George and keep raising taxes on the Americans

You could start an Axis vs Allies cup, but I don't know how popular it would be

Mostly it was a winning strategy for the British Empire, may be not in cause.

My Question based on the fact that England bought troops from Hesse to fight for the Empire in the new colonies.
I think the legend from Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horseman based on a hessian officer.

It would not be very popular to me and I better let sleeping dogs lie.

I'm sure the British Empire used troops from all of it's colonies and plenty of mercenaries too. With that in mind that would then open up the Redcoats side to pretty much everyone in the game.

There was a joke that was flying around last year when London held the Olympics. It went something along these lines but I may be slightly off as it's been a year:-

"I had a great time last night I watched the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics. It started with the history of England then there was a parade with the flags of all the countries we have conquered".

Yes, he was: The most infamous spectre in the Hollow is the Headless Horseman, said to be the ghost of a Hessian trooper who had his head shot away by a stray cannonball during "some nameless battle" of the American Revolutionary War, and who "rides forth to the scene of battle in nightly quest of his head".

There were a lot of Hessian mercenaries that fought in the Revolutionary War for the British. Also, a lot supposedly deserted and just settled in America.
