that would only be possible inside you own league/draft board

and in that way may lead to an unwanted thing

just imagine you trade me you #3 pick for my #29 pick + 1 $, same in 2nd round and in 3rd round

i like the way it is now. you can always sell your draft players and buy other guys

Only way to do it would be trading picks within league.

Eg give up a third to move up in the first that kind of thing and have some sort of value chart.

How much a Draft pick worth? in which round, at which league level?
I guess this cannot be answered

Well, one could let the people just decide that for themselves and let them propose trades (with any combination of draft picks, players, money) which can be vetoed by the community (similar to the Trade feature a few seasons ago) to prevent cheating. so if two teams agree that moving up X spots is worth the third round pick plus that or that amount of money or something like that, why should they not deal. If it seems like cheating the community will prevent it, if not, the two teams that agreed can do as they please. Not every trade has to make sense on an objectie level for all league members. In fact most NFL trades don't either.

The trade feature has shown, that the community (wide parts) is not ready for such a feature, since trades got cancelled for resentment only

It can be answered.... The NFL version of how much a Draft Pick is worth

But for me ... there are many problems with draft-pick trading (anyone in a Dynasty League for Fantasy Football would realise these issues) ....... one of the main problems being :-

What happens in a 3.x League ? . Team A trades some Picks with Team B.
Team B goes Bot. Team B gets taken over by a Human Manager. What happens to the Picks .... do they stay with the new manager ?? (seems unfair), or are all the Picks somehow "reversed" ?? (sounds incredibly complicated, maybe impossible).

That is one reason why some Dynasty leagues don't allow Draft Pick Trading ... i.e. it's possible for a Manager to accidentally/deliberately weaken/sabotage a Team (for the future) with crap Picks/Trades and then walk away, leaving a huge mess for the next unfortunate owner.

I definitely see the issues with draft pick trading. I just thought drafting was a lot of fun and seemed too short

Im curious about the players that went to the comp controlled teams. What happens to them? If a new manager takes over that team does he get those players? Do they retire or become FAs?

There was this QB that a comp team took with the last name Muntanya... I wanted that player cause of his last name, oh and he had good skills .

reading the manual will give you information like this:

Bot teams participate in the draft too, but the drafted players will by fired immediately after the draft is over. There is a good chance for such players to enter the transfer market. If they do so, the wage stable period will be removed - which means the team that buys such a player has to pay full wages starting from next season after the team bought him.

LOVED the new draft format. For the first time, I really felt like I did well in the draft. Other seasons, I got maybe one good player, the other two were useless.

One thing I pay attention to, is the level related to position. I had rather have a 3-star OL or TE than a 3-star CB, because they are much more rare to find. Same with DLs, not many GOOD ones, while there are a ton of good CBs.

This draft, my #1 was a 3-star OL stud, who evaluates out at about the same as my current starters. He's only 19, so as his career progresses, he will be a BEAST. I was tickled to land my top pick from the 19th selection, I really didn't think I'd get him. My second pick, I landed a solid LB, but after evaluating him, I am converting him to CB. Final pick is what I call the "trash" pick, it really doesn't mean a lot. I have no use for a 2-star WR, QB or RB, so I moved them to the bottom with kickers and punters. At the top, I put the two remaining KRs, and got one. So, all in all, it was a great and productive draft for my team.

Best improvement yet, Pete!
