 . Nice to see that Notsch is beatable, it gives hope to us all. But now we have a new champion for us to aim to beat.

Well there goes another terrific season. Congratulations to Buddy for his first Thunder Bowl win and holding up notsch on six wins. I would like to also congratulate all the divisional winners and hope you all have a harder time next season. (I want to win my division again  ).
We now say goodbye to those who have been relegated, The Blizzard and Red Stars automatically and Heidelberg Aquanauts in the relegation play off. All the others that go all went bot, TEC, sur la route, Damaryan Strikers plus Canco Hunters will go through the bot flush. Well done salamander assassins and Prague Lions surviving their relegation play offs. As to the teams that will be joining us next season it's welcome back to London Bulldogs, winners of TB2.1, and to Nicks Rams after four seasons, beating Heidelberg Aquanauts in the relegation play off. Welcome also to Northants Kites, winners of TB2.2, St Louis Rams, TB2.1 finalists, Opole Red Stars, TB2.2 finalists, and Goldrush, who beat bot TEC in relegation play off. As to who will replace Canco Hunters in the bot flush there are four possible contenders, Welshpool Bulldogs and Mean Machine, who both lost in the relegation play offs and both are from Thunder 2.2 or the better records of Severnside Falcons , 16-0, or Florida State Seminoles, 15-1, both from Thunder 2.1. We will have to see on season turnover who is the (un)luckey one. Looking initially at next seasons divisions, four will remain unchanged, while the other three will have two new teams and the other one new team. As Nicks Rams beat Heidelberg Aquanauts in their relegation play off they will return to the same division as back in season 6. Goldrush and the bot flush winner will go into AC West, which will mean the Thunder Bowl finalists of 2.1 and 2.2 will fill the spaces in NC East and NC West, but I'm not guessing which way round. I would like to thank all for their contributions to the forum this season and hope we all are as active next season. I will set up the preliminary Season 11 topic during Season Rollover once we know the divisional break down. Once again guys. Thanks to you all and I wish you the best season greetings. |

I once had a discussion about this with pete, and as I understood it, is pretty clear who gets promoted via the bot flsuh, at least if my theory is correct. My prediction are the Severnside Falcons as the best DP loser. (Relegation losers dont participate in the bot flush, as I understood it - they already had their Chance and blew it) (I braught that up back then actually as a loophole in the System, since by having the best records in both the 2.1 and 2.2 and knowing that there will be at least one Team flushed down before the Playoffs actually enables you to tank your DP game in order to get sure Promotion (as opposed to winning DP and possibly losing in Relegation).) |
