Anybody else in the U.S. watching the USFL ?
Kind of interesting, you can hear the coaches play calling, lots of miked up players, you can hear the drone cameras flying around, helmet cams, 1, 2 and 3 point extra point options.
Kick offs from the 25 to encourage returns, options for an onside kick play.

I find myself watching the Houston Gamblers v Michigan Panthers, seems fun

I keep meaning to tune into a game - - but so busy lately.

Any player that's really worth watching?

I'd say it's fairly high quality football. There's 8 teams at the moment & I believe they all play in Birmingham Al. The access is interesting, They'll have you in the sideline meetings during time outs, they have in the huddle both with full audio. They have drones flying around the field which can give a different point of view, Helmet cams ... Now anybody that's played some kind of organized football knows what it's like in the helmet, damn thing bouncing & moving around ... that's kinda how the helmet cam feels to me, It's not like looking thru their eyes.

All in all I think it's a good watch, interesting access, decent players, solid football.
