I think it might be a bit tweaked by the way the system "overrates" players at CB ... but interesting breakdown on the strongest unit ratings:
Passing - 1 team. Rushing - 1 team. Pass Defense - 14 teams. Rush Defense - 0 teams. Special Teams - 8 teams. |

Oh, the system is not overrating CBs...the managers just make the mistake to compare CB and as example SF ratings...within CBs the rating is comparable, and that's the goal

My point was more, does that lead to the team "unit" rankings, having an inflated value for pass defenses ... due to the CBs scoring generally higher than other positions, at similar skill values. Could just as easily be that newer teams tend to have a little more speed, and seemingly less strength. Or at least that was my experience.
My team had some decent speedsters who are still with the squad now, but almost every "power" position is a new recruit of some sort. |

I always have the feeling, that the Galaxy region is the most active and honorable region inside RZA. I'll try to prove your "Top 10" - paper list wrong! |

Quite a few teams drastically outperformed their "on paper" records last season. My 14-2 record last season was all at sub-50% ratings, so I have no doubt you'll exceed the "paper predictions". Had a couple wins against teams that were 10% ahead of me on overall, just couldn't do a thing against the G-Town Ghouls. (Both regular seasons losses + the quick playoff exit) And I'm guessing everyone's numbers will bump a bit after working the new draftees into games. |
