Dear french, sorry for writing english, but I need to know something...

One manager came up with a new idea for a sponsor name...

French Motors - for people who'd prefer to walk

So the question is: do you guys feel offended by this, or do you see the humor inside it? If it IS offending in your opinion, this sponsor will never make it into the game.

Thanks for your help, and maybe one can translate this to french. Thanks a lot!

I need a name!!

More seriously, it's at the same time funny and a bit sad for me (and not true at all!)…
I'm not offended but I'm sure I could not pick it in a future choice, even if it was the best choice for my team.
French industry doesn't need more bashing…

I'm a quite neutral on this case.

Hello,

I don't feel offended, and it's quite funny... and of course not true (Vettel won four F1 championships with a french motor ).

Just keep in mind that you will probably have some others funny (or not !) sponsors based on nationalities if you accept this one, for example :
- Italian Watch - for people who'd prefer to be late
- American Burgers - for people who'd like to be fat...

Personally I really don't care and I'm the first one to make jokes about French stereotypes but I think you made the right decision, some people are bound to be offended by such jokes and it's just not worth offending people.

But if you had a French related joke it should be about strikes and the sponsor would be on strike and not pay anything 2/3 weeks per season
