Picking at 31st I got an absolute steal getting the 2nd (!!) guy on my board:

I picked a developmental QB with my 9th choice...might be good prospect, depends on where his SPD caps out on. It's 45 minimum.

2 OL with my first two picks. Both were rated 1 on my board even though I picked 17th. One is a future starter for many years to come. The other will provide depth.
Both have a pass blocking trait, strength over 47 and TW over 40. My running game was horrific last season, and I have 2 good backs. So this was my main focus. |

Position over best player eh. I can never force myself to do it although I do move QBs down the board after round 1.
I got a mehhh player in round 3. Will keep him though and train him up for the remainder of the season. Btw if anyone has transfer listed a draft pick let me know and I might put a bid in! |

I am young and set at every other position for the future, thanks to heavy transfer market spending the last 2 seasons.
A draft pick at another position wouldn't be good enough to contribute right away, otherwise I would have went with best player. I cut my OL down to 5 players so the 2 I drafted and the one Youth academy promote gives me 8 deep. I don't have a full 55 man squad which I'm testing to see if it's more beneficial since I am so young to get these guys experience. They are the base. I had a huge selloff this past offseasons. |
