Hey guys I thought it would be fun if we all gave a preview of our team's starting lineup. Feel free to go all-in or to give minimal analysis; there are no rules here. Elite teams also feel free to add your lineups. Since it's my idea, I'll start:
Offense QB Derrick Powell, 30 years old, 4*. The team’s franchise QB looks to feast on division 1 competition after being tested (and passed) in Elite last season. RB Abuu Sousa, 27 years old, 3.5*/Craig O’Brien, 25 years old, 3.5*. This season will feature a committee-style approach to the backfield, with rising stars Sousa and O’Brien carrying the load in the running game. FB Maciu Taase, 30 years old, 3.5*. Will continue to be a solid starter with a small role. TE Tommaso Großglaußer, 22 years old, 3.5*. Will look to contribute a bit more for the offense his 4th season with the team since being drafted in season 37 after putting up solid numbers last season. WR Jan Vysloužil, 24 years old, 4*. Entering his sixth season, the team’s franchise wideout will look to have another good season after a monster campaign in Elite last season. WR Vitor da Rocha, 26 years old, 4*. The other stud at the wide receiver position, will look to bounce back this season after not catching any touchdowns last season. LT Vítezslav Bílek, 32 years old, 4.5*. The rock on the blindside, will be a big part of the team’s success this season. LG Damion Wellman, 32 years old, 4.5*. Holds down the fort on the inside. Will continue to be one of the cornerstones of a veteran offensive line. C Jesper Ritter, 27 years old, 3.5*. The weak point of an otherwise strong line. With more experience, he will be very good. RG Jannik Jensen, 28 years old, 4.5*. Coming in to fill the gap left by the release of Max Concepcion, will actually be an upgrade at the position. Looking for him to have a good season once he gels with the rest of the team. LT Sidney Gunther, 31 years old, 4.5*. Another big part of the team. Glad to have an offensive lineman of his caliber on the team. Defense LE Joan Anderson, 27 years old, 4.5*. Star defensive lineman moves to the outside after spending several seasons as a tackle. His combination of speed and agility should make this switch worthwhile. DT Len Kerr, 25 years old, 4.5*. Will become the #1 defensive and nose tackle for the team after playing second fiddle to Anderson for the past couple of seasons. I’m excited for his potential. DT Oskar Krzak, 26 years old, 4*. New addition to the team to replace the departed HansPeter Weber. Will be a solid player for us this season. RE Malte Koch, 26 years old, 4.5*. In his second season with the team after a nice debut coming in Elite. Will look to feast against weaker division 1 competition. LOLB Emory Nunes, 32 years old, 4.5*. The most veteran player on the defense, has been a stud ever since his acquisition in season 36. The team will look to him for leadership as we have for several seasons now. MLB Shaan Marin, 24 years old, 4*. The franchise MLB will continue his domination while running the show on the defensive side of the ball. ROLB Tito Manes, 26 years old, 4*. Entering his second season as a starter for the team, will look to build on last season’s good performance. CB Selby Tamboo, 31 years old, 4.5*. Brought in during the offseason to make up for the lack of experience at the position with the departure of both of last season’s starters. CB Leslie Herr, 27 years old, 4*. Was supposed to be the team’s #1 corner this season, but inexperience demands that he only moves up to #2 in the depth chart. SS Jakab Grúz, 25 years old, 3.5*. Entering a contract year, this will definitely be a prove-it season due to his lack of experience. FS Sándor Meleÿ, 30 years old, 4*. One of the team’s earliest acquisitions, has always been a good starter, first as a linebacker and now as a safety. The team looks to make a quick pit-stop in Fire 1 this season and promote again to Elite, where we will hopefully stick around for a while. Last edited on 2020-08-24 03:18:35 by badgers |

I'll play along...maybe inspire some others
Not to be overconfident, but I'm feeling like the favorite in the NC to advance to the finals and return to Elite. For the most part, my A-squad is Elite, so many of them will be watching from the bench except against some of the better Fire squads. And instead of a complete rundown, this is a little more abbreviated than badger's writeup: QB: the 24 y/o YA product Roe is a speedster and has dominated against bots. Time to see if he can produce against division 1 foes because star QB Fuks could retire anytime RB: this year's first round pick, Bæringsson, will get his chances to earn a spot on the squad Receivers: my team has turned out lots of award-winning TEs; two YA players (Hudson and Kearney) will look to see who is next on the list while in my first season without Frederickson, second round pick Conway and YA player Hutton will be the featured WRs OL: the next wave of OLs (Peebles, Leigh and Wilmoth) get their starts with some assistance from my 5 starters (all 4.5* players) DL: not much youth to play, so more of my A-squad will get minutes LB: even my B-squad LBs got a lot of sacks in Elite, so they are going to wreak havoc DBs: a valuable chance for my young CBs (Cowart and Meade) to get EXP before trying Elite Last edited on 2020-08-27 22:59:32 by prchaser |
