Playoff Previews Wild Card Round
11-5 BPJ @ 12-4 SF These two teams haven't faced more than 2 teams outside their division with winning records. We have both had soft schedules. Neither has played a playoff contender outside the division for 9 weeks. We both do the same thing in general on offense. We both run to set up the pass. What is different is the way we get there. BPJ runs a lot to set up the big pass while I run to set up a short to medium pass game. The last game I beat BPJ 41-17 but that was last season. For me to win I have to be able to contain the big pass play. BPJ is always just a flick of the wrist from getting 7 points. For BPJ to win they have to stop me on 3rd down plus get the big pass plays themselves. My offense is centered on creating long drives to eat up the clock and score. If you disrupt that then I'm a goner. No fake humility, I really don't know who wins this one. Wouldn't be surprised with either team winning. Would be surprised with a blow out either way though. I'm just glad I don't have to face Gardians who beat me all three times this season. lol. 11-5 OTR @ 12-4 N. Outlaws The last three games went like this: Season 44 Outlaws win by 31 Season 45 OTR win by 3 Season 46 OTR win by 41 This season these two teams couldn't have started and finished any differently. Outlaws started off win its first 7 games and OTR lost 4 of the their first 5 games. The last 6 games Outlaws finished 3-3 while OTR went 5-1 and needed every win to get into the playoffs. It isn't just their season but also their play style that is opposite. Both play good defense. OTR has top 5 rushing attack and Outlaws have top 5 passing attack. I am partial to the running game myself as I feel it is more reliable. Picking OTR by 4 points. Meanwhile in the AC.... 10-6 Seahawks @ 12-4 Jackalopes Despite the 10-6 record the Seahawks are a very good team. Their last 4 losses were by 1 point to Paladins, by 2 to GR, by 7 to Gardians, and by 6 to Lonestar. Jackalopes havn't lost outside of their division which is probably the most difficult division in Dragons. Both teams like to run the ball and play defense. Raw rushing numbers Jackalopes are 3rd and Seahawks are 6th. On Defense the Jackalopes are 16th and Seahawks are 4th. Vs the pass the Seahawks are ranked 31st so they are vulnerable. According to the Pomp. rankings Jackalopes are 3rd overall on offense and defense while Seahawks are 10th and 12th. The last meeting between them was the playoffs last year where Jackalopes won by 25 points. I don't know if it will be a blowout like that but I'm picking Jackalopes by 10. 13-3 Paladins @ 8-8 Turigtians In the last 2 games Turigitans was able to score 3 points each time. The game this season was won by Paladins 44-3. I am picking Paladins to win by at least 20. |

Divisional Round
AC 13-4 Jackalopes @ 16-0 Guns & Roses Jackalopes are coming off a super close overtime win vs Seahawks. Their reward is a rematch with GR. The last time these two face Jackalopes had a 21-13 lead going into the 4th quarter. That lead was in part to GR throwing 2 interceptions up to that point that Jackalopes converted into touchdowns. They still had to drive 48 and 44 yards for those touchdowns. In the 4th quarter the Jackalopes had 3 drives for 18 total yards and a critical fumble with a few minutes left. The Jackalope defense couldn't stop the 13 play drive for a field goal or keep GR from getting the 20 yards for the touchdown. GR had more turnovers in the game but it is the timing of the turnovers for GR that seems to be on their side. In multiple games they have gotten the key turnover late in the game to pull a win out of the fire. Will the magical run continue or will time run out? 14-3 Paladins @ 15-1 Panthers In the power rankings this is the 2nd and 3rd ranked teams. Last season the Panthers won handily 27-10. In the match this season it looked to be the same result as the Panthers had a 21-3 lead going into the 4th quarter. Paladins had other plans as they put together 3 long drives for touchdowns while the Panthers offense couldn't stay on the field. Paladins won 24-21. That could have been because of how these teams are built. Panthers are running team and controlled the last game up to the 4th quarter. Paladins are a throwing team that can catch up quickly if needed. That said the Paladins needed all of the plays to go their way in the fourth to pull this out. They completed 3 third downs (one was 11 yards) on those drives while Panthers couldn't convert a 3rd and 2 and a 3rd and 3 despite averaging 4.1 yards a carry for the game. I feel Paladins will need those bounces again to pull this out. Kind of why I think Panthers win. NC 12-5 OTR @ 14-2 Werewolves These 2 teams have never faced each other, ever. I'm not sure exactly how this plays out but I do know the following: OTR is 3rd in rushing and Werewolves are #1 defense vs the rush. Feels like Werewolves have the edge. I think OTR can win this game just as much as Werewolves. Both teams have had inconsistent moments this season. Werewolves have dominated some playoff teams but then been dominated by playoff teams. OTR beats Steelers but then loses to Wolves. That leaves this game uncertain to me. 13-4 SF @ 12-4 Steelers This game will be based on turnovers. The first match SF won 20-13 and Steelers had 1 turnovers to SF 0 turnovers. The second match this season ( supercup) Steelers won 27-20 and SF had 3 turnovers to Steelers 0 turnovers. Flip a coin. Although there is a little cat and mouse game with playbooks between them. lol |

It was a tough fight  After the first half of the Game SFniner08 was in lead 20:14 and had bad luck in the second Half! This Game gave me a heartattack in the first half and i didn´t expect to win thias |

I am really sorry I haven't responded for a while. It had nothing to do with my exit in the playoffs. I've been working on report cards and end of the year school stuff....and well....life happens.
It does look, however, that my predictions are not necessary as every game has followed the Pizti ranking system and I don't see that changing. Good luck to Steelers and Guns & Roses next year in Elite! It looks like Polar Bears will be coming back and Long Term Capital Managment, formerly Zygal Coda formerly Ergodicity. Not sure what is going on with them with 1. the name change and 2. the current roster setup. Having no special teams, 17 DL, a handful of LB and CB along with super slim offensive unit....are they going to quit or are they just retooling? Who knows...... Congrats Steelers on your win against me. It was a frustrating second half for sure. The better team won in the end. |

GG for a strong bowl game! When you lead at halftime, of course you want to win. But you don't always get what you want and in the end I had to admit defeat to Guns&Roses and his strong running game
 It was an exciting game and the best team of the season deserved to win. Congratulations to them |
