Beckos Playoff Predictions / Power Rankings:
AC 1. AC East: Alert Polar Bears 12-4 2. AC North: Westlake Marines 11-5 3. Wildcard: Panthers 11-5 4. Wildcard: SkiD MarKs 11-5 5. AC West: Rio Atoms 11-5 6. AC South: Viper 12-4 NC 1. NC North: The Pinellas Pikes 15-1 2. NC West: Werewolves 12-4 3. Wildcard: Budapest Janitors 10-6 4. NC East: Nottingham Outlaws 8-8 5. Wildcard: Oldtown Rooks 10-6 6. NC South: Cargese Dolphins 10-6 Beckos thinks Dragons is the most stacked Division 1 region in terms of ratings, by a long shot, with nearly every team projected to have 12+ Supercup wins. Alert Polar Bears are a slim 1pt favorite over The Pinellas Pikes, in a match where the fur and scales would surely fly. The Pikes are at least one step ahead of any competition for the NC, but the AC is a meat grinder - the Polar Bears, ranked #35 globally by Beckos, are still only projected to pick up 12 wins! This will be among the hardest earned tickets to Elite this season. And of course, these predictions wouldn't be complete without... Dragons 2 NC 1. NC North: Miami Dolphins 16-0 Beckos predicts unprecedented success for the Dolphins this season. I'd bet the over on these guys. |

No way Dolphins make the playoffs. Only 1 not 2 from North are wildcards.

Let's see how Beckos playoff predictions are doing with 3 games to go:

Wildcard: Panthers 11-5 [Alert Polar Bears 10-3] 4. Wildcard: SkiD MarKs 11-5 [Quack Attack 9-4] 5. AC West: Rio Atoms 11-5 [Rio Atoms 10-3] 6. AC South: Viper 12-4 [Viper 9-4] Well, 5 out 6 teams correctly predict here. The South and West champions are so far correct. The West Lake Marines (8-5) is the only team that was predicted on playoffs but it is not on the list with 3 games to go but they are totally on the battle for a playoff berth. And it is really pretty stacked as predicted. Nice job from Beckos here. NC 1. NC North: The Pinellas Pikes 15-1 [The Pinellas Pikes 10-3] 2. NC West: Werewolves 12-4 [Werewolves 9-4] 3. Wildcard: Budapest Janitors 10-6 [Gardians 8-5] 4. NC East: Nottingham Outlaws 8-8 [Nottingham Outlaws 9-4] 5. Wildcard: Oldtown Rooks 10-6 [Oldtown Rooks [8-5] 6. NC South: Cargese Dolphins 10-6 [Alaskan Fur Traders 13-0] In the NC 4/6 teams were correctly predicted on the Playoffs. The North, West, and East winners are right so far. But some records are clearly far from the expected. Budapest Janitors (6-7) is almost out of the contest while Cargese Dolphins (4-9) are even struggling to stay on D1 (if D2 do not close for next season). The Fur Traders were a great surprise indeed but the predictions here were not that good at all. |
