As some might know torakrid and me are working on a new scheduling system, which should reflect the NFL scheduling way a bit more than what we have today.
During my tests I found, that it is quite often that a team has either 3 home games or 3 away games in a row. I was not aware of that. I knew you could have 2 home or 2 away games in a row, but not 3. On top, the poor Texans had their first home game during the 2008 season in week 5. Now this is no problem in the real world, it seems. But for RZA this creates a challenge: if a team has to cover financial background for 5 weeks until they earn some big money from league home game tickets .... |

That is great news
Question 1 After you will finish this schedule, will we play continued schedule each season? By that i mean, if we face AC East this season, next season we will face AC South or AC West and so on. 3 Season for each AC opponents, 4 seasons for each NC opponents. And for our other 2 conference opponents will we play against teams that finished on the same positions in the other 2 divisions? If we finish #2 in the AC North, let's say next season we will play against AC West, the other 2 opponents will be against #2 teams in the AC East and AC South? Question 2 Just as a side note, but you are not taking this to a 17 game/ regular season, like in the NFL, right? |

This is not about the new scheduling system, therefore I would like to skip answering your questions. Sorry

You could change the income distribution of home games or games in general.
For example a base income line for the away team, but less on home games? |

If I change it to anything except 50/50 it could result in issues, it seems to me.

Or maybe the manager can manage his way thru those early season low income weeks.
I've had to be broke for a couple weeks a couple different seasons cuz the away schedule. It's not a huge deal. |

Are you sure? Even if it was 5 weeks until you get league income?

That was probably one of the seasons I was scratching for pennies and thinking it woulda been nice to have early home games . But I do not have anywhere near the bank that most teams seem to have and thats all due to my management. But certainly 4 away at the start is a flaw that needs to be fixed. The workaround would be the automatic credit option from the Bank of Yoda for teams which end up with longer than usual number of weeks with no league homecoming. With interest 0% if paid off no later than a week after the first home appearance.
But obviously a much better option is to find the algorithm which would resolve the issue head on. |
