Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, the Constanta Ravens proudly brings to you the 10th edition of World Bowl.
Like i said, once every 5 editions this type of Friendly Cup will be organized like this, so without futher ado here we go with a 16 teams tournament in power mode played on wednesday, split into 2 groups with 8 teams each and the first 4 teams from each group qualifying in the KO round. We will have 7 group game and a maxim of 10 games for the teams that will advance into the FINAL, so we can play all season long for a fee of 50 credits. The groups will be mixed up after all 16 team are registered. So, hurry up and click the registration button and let's start the next season with a BANG.  |

Today starts our journey throughout the season with the first matches of GameDay 1 in World Bowl X.
This are the games that we have today and we would like to wish everyone the best of luck. Games at 12:00 In group 1, the Constanta Ravens will take a first class flight to Vietnam for a meeting against Cà Mau con hổ at Sân vận động Cà Mau in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. Games at 15:00 In group 1, the Leverkusen Leopards will take a first class flight to the U.S. for a meeting against Tennessee Frontiersmen at The Frontier Bowl. This 2 teams played twice and the "Wild Kitties" won both games and hold the record at 2-0. Let's see if the "Border Patrol" can shut them down and get that precious first win to narrow the margin. In group 2, the HAMBURG SEA LIONS will take a first class flight to Canada for a meeting against the Willoughby Wookies at Wookie Field. This 2 teams played once before and " The Pinnipeds" won it. Let's see if the sun will shine bright in Canada to help out the "Furry Creatures" to get the win and tie the record at 1-1. Games at 16:00 In group 1, the Bracciano Lakers will take a hot air balloon across the Adriatic Sea (and some other countries  ), untill they reach and fall in Romania (sorry mate  ) for a meeting against Constanta Sailors at Tomis Center. This 2 teams did play a few games against each other in the "good old days", but talking about present time this will be the first meeting between them and a very exciting one as well.
In group 2, the Paris Guardians will take a hot air balloon to Germany for a meeting against the St Pauli Packers at Lambeau-Millerntor Arena in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. In group 2, the Ruhrpott Miners will take a first class flight to Canada for a meeting against Vancouver Corsairs at The Galleon Arena. This 2 teams played 5 times before (in 5 consecutive seasons, only in the Friendly Cups, but they took a break last season from each other and here we are again with another clash between them) and the "Dreadful Pirates" hold the record in their favor at 4-1. It look like the "Coal Men" need some help to get a precious win today and narrow that margin. Games at 18:00 In group 1, H2TAGIT4Q will take a hot air balloon to Italy for a fight against "King" Neptunes at Neptunes Dome. This 2 teams played once before and "Mr. Bossman", a.k.a. "Pete the Great", a.k.a. "Change that team's name already" won that game. We shall see today, if we can witness another mighty power of the "Neptunites" and if somehow they will be able to tie the record. Games at 21:00 In group 1, Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin will take a big ship (not the Titanic  ), across the Atlantic Sea to the U.S. for a meeting against the Morgantown Mad Dogs at The Dog Pen Arena (Damn, someone will get bitten tonight  ), in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. |
