Planning out my roster long term. How would you rank positions by "tier level" if you had to. Asking another way, where do you spend your money? Since we can't have all 50s everywhere. I know it will vary depending on what I am trying to do and who you ask. But just a general guideline so I can save myself some time and effort...
Current plan is to run a balanced, random offense and a 344 base on defense. In real football, I'd invest in QB, WR1, LT on offense. And LOLB, MLB1, and FS1 for a 34 defense. Then prioritize the LOS on both sides of the ball. Would I be off-base to do that here? |

Not totally off base, but it's not real football here, so your QB won't have more of an impact than any other player on your team.
I build from the inside out and prioritize the lines, as protection for passing and blocking for rushing makes everything work way better offensively and dominant DL get to the QB themselves or open lanes for blitzing LBs. |

If I were starting a team from zero these would be my personal tiers, to answer your question:
Tier 1: OL and DL Tier 2: QB and LB Tier 3: WR and CB Tier 4: TE/FB/RB and SF Tier 5: K and P a good OL helps the running game with a bad RB way more than a great RB and a bad OL |
